We shared a bread platter which was boasted three varieties of warm, homemade bread. We both opted for the pork belly roast dinner and oh my goodness me... we were not disappointed! I was so...

Stayed overnight whilst on business. Fantastic 16th Century Inn full of warmth and character. Exudes quality throughout, from the bar and dining areas to the wonderful character bedrooms. Evening meal and breakfast was of exceptional quality The staff were friendly and professional. A great find not many places can meet this standard.

We had a wonderful stay, really warm welcome, superb food and excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu was interesting and our choices did not disappoint - Duck Caesar Salad, Roast Beef just as it should be, pink and tender, excellent vegetables and unusual to be served kale. Warm, cosy ambiance. We plan to return.

We came on Thursday evening on a 2 for 1 deal. We both chose Skate which was cooked perfectly - absolutely delicious and served with beautifully cooked side dishes. Excellent service with a friendly smile. We can thoroughly recommend.

What a fantastic find!! The room was lovely, very well equipped!! The beds were extremely comfy and I slept very well even with our room above the bar. But by far the best thing about The Angel Inn is the food!! A must visit !!
