Great getaway from home...our unit was well furnished and spacey. 100m to beach access and a huge lagoon style pool. If you aren't familiar with the area and want a little more then a swim I'd recommend a vehicle as Marcoola doesn't have too much more to offer. Overall experience at the Sand Dunes was pretty good.

Second visit to Sand Dunes, this one even better then the first. This trip was a 4 day stay over the Easter long weekend. Staying in a 3 bedroom poolside villa, I cant fault it. Clean, tidy, well stocked for a family of four. With direct pool access the grown ups were able to relax on the patio while the...

Stayed in a 3 bedroom poolside apartment for a week with our two young children (two and four), the kids absolutely loved the pool! Can't fault the resort facilities and the staff, only thing that wasn't 100% was the actual apartment itself. It was a bit run down in parts. The master bedroom was great, in fact all bedrooms were,...

We stayed in the 4 bedroom house which was closest to the beach. It has it's own pool which is well maintained and also a roof top spa. The house itself is on 3 levels; a living and dining room with shower and toilet and laundry on the first level. The second level has the four bedrooms and two bathrooms,...

I knew we were going to pay top dollar to stay on a long weekend and that was OK, but even still it was very expensive with no ocean view. However, the 3 bedroom beach house was fantastic. It had everything we needed, air conditioning, a full kitchen, amazing bedrooms, easy access to the walking track and to the pool....

Fantastic family accommodation with lots of room, so great for the kids and the adluts. With great pool at your back door/deck. Well priced for the size. Also very close to the beach. Really enjoyed the location not to busy.

Perfect. We needed a place to accommodate 3 families, and it certainly did just that. The apartments were spacious and immaculate. We had a four bedroom villa along with a 2 bedroom apartment. To be able ti walk straight from apartment to pool was a highlight for all. We had the villa that walked straight out to the heaters pool...

Perfect place to relax by the pool while the kids swim. You stepped off the balcony and into the pool. Easy access to Marcoola beach with lifeguards on duty. We had a 3 bedroom villa and it was the perfect size for 4 adults and 3 kids. We'll be back!

The best part of this resort is the pool. Lots of shallow platforms for kids to wade in and very well maintained surrounding gardens. The majority of the pool is cold water and there is also a small to medium sized heated pool. It was great to have both options. There was also a spa in the centre. We have...

We stayed at Sand Dunes with our 10 and 13 year old boys. We really loved the spacious apartment and how it opened out to the massive pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. It was lovely and quiet and very close to 2 patrolled beaches which were never busy. The only minor gripe - not enough...
