Detailed Reviews
Truly wonderful place in the country - calm and beautiful, very nice and big rooms. Eric is the nicest host ever, and the dinner he cooked... We enjoyed the place so much, we didn't want to leave. Hope we have another chance to get there!

Our room at La Pertuzerie was a complete shock. I was expecting it to be a room within their house like most chambre d'hotes, but instead, we had our own little building close to the main house. It was cosy, warm and comfy. A lot of thought had gone in to furnishing the room. Eric and Mirelle made us & our baby feel very welcomed. Travelling with a baby does make things very different and it is the little things like having the cot made up for you and preparing a little lunch for her that make a huge difference and make things that much easier.
The meal in the evening was a very convivial affair, eating with other guests and 3 generations of the same family. The four courses and wine was great value.
I just wish we had stayed in the Summer so we could have taken advantage of our surroundings more. Maybe an excuse to go back?!

After being delayed, we arrived at midnight after a very long drive and the owners had made notices which led us us to our lovely room! The setting is delightful, the rooms charming and the breakfast delicious! Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return

We spent 3 days / 2 nights in La Pertuzerie, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the arrival in this large and authentic house, the welcome and the attention of our hosts, the discovery of our lovely room, the great sleep in the very comfortable bed, the fresh home made bread and cakes for breakfast. The place owners do produce their own Bio fruits & vegetables which are used by Mireille when preparing the food to share with their guests who have the good idea to stay for diner. Just one advice : make sure you check directions before to get there.

Luck was with us regarding the weather. We were able to make good use of the relaxing gardens. We were encouraged to pick cherries from one of the trees. Had an evening meal. The owners fully took into account my allergies and did us proud.

Stayed overnight during a road trip from UK to Bordeaux. The accommodation is in the country and absolutely charming. My room was comfortable and clean. The owners sent a message on the day itself on whether I'd like to have dinner, and even though I replied late in the day, they managed to fit me in. Dinner was great. They have a dog and a couple of cats, all very friendly, which I think is an added bonus!

We stopped at this wonderful place for just the one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners are lovely people and made our stay completely relaxing. Our dog Sam was extremely welcome and the owners had two dogs of their own, one of which walked with us when we took Sam for his walk. The evening meal was beautiful and the other guests made it feel like a lovely dinner party. The chickens, geese and Peacock all add to the charm of this lovely place. We will be back.

This is the second time we've stayed at La Pertuzerie. This time it was for three nights. We took two rooms as we had our grandchildren with us. Our hosts, Eric and Mierille were terrific and their dinner special indeed. The breakfast menu was generous too. In fact, I believe we could have ordered almost anything we wanted for breakfast and they would have been happy to provide to our taste. It is a charming "Chambres et Table D'Hhotes" in a unique, rural setting. I hope we stay there again in the near future. In english we'd call the Pertuzerie a "Bed and Breakfast."

How do you say more superlative than superlative? We had a bad journey and arrived late. Nevertheless we were made very welcome and a table was set up in our room for dinner. What service! The room was very good - clean and attractive - and the rural surroundings relaxing. We will definitely visit again when travelling north-south through France.
