We stopped here on our way to the Lake District. Rather than the usual motorway pit stop hotels I wanted something with character and that would make our long awaited break special. Dunsley Hall Hotel definitely fulfilled this brief and more. A beautiful old Manor House with wood panelled reception rooms and lots of character. On arrival the staff were...

Visited for Easter Day with friends. Nice venue but what lets this place down is the service and not being more adventurous with the food. The service is pleasant but not attentive.Waiting an age for drinks to be served. Waiting approx 5 min for vegetables to arrive after the meat had been served.Meal nearly cold by then. Vegetables served included...

Went with friends on a Thursday evening and had the offer meal for £17.95 each for 3courses. The food was amazing and the 2 girls working were very friendly and helpful. It was very quite though should have been rammed with the quality they served. Will certainly be back again and would recommend to anyone to go along and have...

My best friend and I visited today for an afternoon tea, it was a lovely setting, very lovely old manor house with lots of charm and character. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown to a peaceful setting, The coffee was lovely, the food was very nice indeed, a selection of about five decent size sandwiches,...

We stayed here for one night on the 7th of March. The entire stay was fantastic. The hotel is spotless, right from the entrance through to the bedroom and every other area we had the pleasure of spending any time in. Every member of staff we came into contact with was courteous, polite and professional. We ate in the smokehouse...

We hired the Orangery at Dunsley Hall Hotel for my wife's birthday party for around 100 guests. The property is fabulous with adjoining areas for dancing, drinking and eating. The outlook from all these areas takes in the spectacular kitchen gardens and terraces. The food served was excellent and the drinks and catering was all moderately priced. We all had...

Stayed here because I am working in Kidderminster. Breakfast doesn't start until 7.30 so missing that both days (7am would be better & you would be £24 better off). So 5 star hotel was expecting a restaurant and a bar, nope neither both shut apparently. So next door for the food and drinks. I cannot only assume the owners own...

Thid hotel is in a delightfully historic building and should deliver so much more. But almost every aspect of the stay was disappointing and left one feeling the hotel was in decline. The welcome was very friendly and pre-dinner drinks in a lounge with a roaring log fire made for a good start. But there were so many other "penny-pinching"...

Easy to get to, ample parking and lovely surrounds, this hotel was terrific value. Despite the rooms being very traditional (exposed beams etc) they were nevertheless very clean and made for a very comfortable yet beautiful atmosphere. The shower was exceptional in terms of hot water and pressure, as well as space, cleanliness and products provided. Both beds in our...
