A quirky and very friendly place to stay. Fi is a lovely host and makes you very welcome. The rooms are well appointed and the bed comfortable. We had to leave early to our function and Fi very graciously got up early to make sure we had our breakfast, a very good full English which set us up very well for the day
We were here for two nights, and the room was untouched when we went out. Rubbish bin not emptied, bathroom not cleaned. When we asked why our hostess replied that she is a B&B, not an hotel. For £95 we expect better service.
Was here for work for 2 weeks. Loved the older rustic historical interior. The rooms are on the 2nd level and one of them has the view of Fram castle in the distance. Very comfortable rooms with an attached ensuite. The ceiling can be a little low as it is with lodgings from this era, I'm 6 foot (181cm) but got around completely fine. Comfortable bed, good views, TV in the room, also had fresh milk, teas, coffees and water provided. Very convenient location, close to town and restaurants/takeaway places, most within less than 5 mins walk. Fiona was a great host and can cook any breakfast you like, sometimes I was spoiled with a full English breakfast. Also has a very friendly dog called Bear. Has a lovely garden which you don't have access to, but you can see lots of birds, has chickens around. Excellent choice and affordable price. Would stay back here again, Fi was an excellent host.…
This lovely B&B on Colllege Road in Framlingham. Bit vertically challenging but i am 6 foot 6 and can manage carefully. It is a lovely friendly atmosphere with a lovely owner and a gorgeous poodle cross called Bear. It is well placed to walk to the town, Castle and the Mere. It overlooks the Castle. It is also well placed to gert out to other areas in Suffolk. The meals are freshly cooked using local and home produced products.
This is a really quaint B&B with a great owner. The house is old and therefore built for the age. I am very tall and it was a little difficult for me, however as I was careful moving around, my head was alight. It is close to the town; within walking distance and has great views, from the breakfast table of the castle. The owner is very helpful and very pleasant and makes you feel very much at home. The house is on the main road but it was nice and quiet even with the window open. Breakfast was very good, with a great choice. I recommend the cooked breakfast with fresh eggs, the B&B has hens and local homemade jams. I had a lovely stay and would certainly visit again.
