A lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful lakeside location.

A 16-minute train journey from Luzern and well worth it for the lakeside views and its proximity to Stans.

Try to get a room with a balcony and a view of the lake.

Breakfast is very good.

Its adjacent pizzeria was warm and welcoming with a lovely smell of woodsmoke and the best pizzas I have ever tasted.

Good choice of starters and desserts too.

Very highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel which has a perfect location. It is a calm place with a beautiful view on the lake. It is close to lots of the main attractions to visit. It is located next to the beautiful and charming city of Stans and the Stanserhorn with its open air deck cablecar not to miss. Also close to the Bürgenstock area.

All the hotel's staff is very nice and welcoming. Thank you very much to Vanda at the reception who perfectly organised our programme and was very helpful.

The room was light, comfortable and clean. The balconies are very pleasant.

The restaurant serves delicious food with a very professional and nice service.

We discovered this hotel and this beautiful area and we hope to come back soon! Everything was perfect.

Hotel conveniently located on the shores of Lake Lucerne. Magical location, very quiet. Convenient parking. Breakfast absolutely improvable for a hotel of this level. Very friendly staff. I've got a very welcome upgrade to the suite

We spent a night in this hotel a few years ago…was excellent. This time we were surprised by the poor service….reception at the front desk was cold…..at breakfast we asked for an omelet….the waitress looked at us as if we were asking for the moon….poor choices at the buffet…there were few choices of bread…no more croissant….i was told they were baked at the moment…and they had 80 guests today morning…..
Hair dryer not working…. I strongly suggest to look for another place.

We (family of 4) stayed here on our way to Italy. The hotel is well located close to the highway and not far from Luzern. The hotel is on the lake and has beautiful views on the lake and towards Luzern.
Staff at the reception is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and it's nice to sit outside when the weather is fine. Car can be parked in the garage (at a reasonable fee).
We were a bit disappointed with the rooms: these are quite basic with a sober decoration.

In terms of price we got what, in Swiss terms, we paid for. Basic. It was a room with a shower and little else. Not even a kettle and the view from the alleged lakeview room impeded by the roof in front.

This, however, emphasised the issues Switzerland has. It is not good value. While cheap by local standards (and that includes its quality) it was extremely poor value when compared to other venues during our six weeks in Europe. The cost was about the same in total as three nights in each of the far superior venues in Spain. Indeed this was our dearest night (by some margin) but the poorest quality.

As I said - provided the required bed but little else.

We've spent there 3 nights (2 families with 3 kids). Great location to explore Luzern surroundings, very good quality, nice rooms, smiling and helpful Staff (thank you guys!). The highlight is lake view - amazing.

We loved the location by the lake, our family room was very spacious with a lovely balcony facing the water. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big enough and everything was very clean. The staff in the hotel and adjacent restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great, all fresh products and lots of choice. The young lady Heidi was particularly helpful and friendly.
The hotel is by the water and only 30 mn drive to Engelberg if you want to do a bit of skiing in winter.
The hotel has two restaurants, one traditional by the hotel, the other one, a pizzeria just opposite. Both had good quality food and lovely staff.
it was a pleasure to stay there for a weekend, I would not hesitate to come back. Only downside was the price of the rooms, however these are Swiss prices and the location and quality of the service were worth the price paid.

The strong points of this hotel are location, beds quality and staff. Breakfast is good and it can be a nice and quiet experience with a view of the lake, unless you accidentally run into a group of tourist on a Swiss tour.
The weak points are architecture and decoration and the 80s to 90s feel of it all.
Nice touch: coffee and tea on hand around the clock.
The young ladies at reception desk are among the most dedicated staff I have met so far.

Was looking for a 1-night stay on the lake, prior to heading to Zurich at the end of our wonderful Swiss vacation. After checking in, we’re directed to a room that wasn’t yet cleaned for guests. Back to reception, she says - it’ll just be 5 minutes.....no way could they fully change over a room in 5 minutes, so we try another room. While clean, it’s dated - decor is soft mauve, 80’s style, curtains are all sheers, no light blocking layer. This was a big problem as the “balcony/Mountain View” was primarily looking out at the brightly lit cul-de-sac in front of the hotel. The lights stay on all night & it was noisy too, as we wanted to leave a window open for ventilation (no room fans available). The hotel bar opens at 5pm and the adjacent pizza/pasta restaurant (which was great!) doesn’t open until 6pm. Very little else in the area to choose from. It wasn’t worth the side trip to stay here.
