Truly amazed on the new management of this b&b - currently working on a makeover taking the Beatles (yes, the Beatles!!) as a theme. Great rooms and the bathrooms are something else. Totally competitive rates and surroundings are great! Trendy London Calling lounge is next door.

This very tastefully decorated B&B lies very close to the core of the city, but in a neighbourhood with lots of character and not so touristy restaurants and bars. Bordering the African quarter of Matonge it's great fun to stroll the surrounding streets and to visit local businesses (L'Horloge du Sud, owned by Senegalese, has very good food and a... More

Dear Jaime, We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay in our house, but also in our neighborhood, where we live for years now. We like that our guests just walk around and discover this part of Brussels, where a mix of cultures and people live together. We really hope to welcome you again soon... You are welcome whenever... Requiring a hotel for a single night in Brussels for a business trip, I decided to follow the recommendation of a travel magazine and made a booking at Chambres en Ville. It was a pleasurable experience from the start. The building as a whole including the rooms are very nicely decorated with artworks, the breakfast room has a homely kitchen... More

Wonderful location, superb accommodation and lovely hostess who speaks very good English. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different and better than any hotel. On a delightful square with a selection of bars and eating places as well as easy access/walking distance to Grand Place.

The owner doesn't speak any English or very few words at that so just be warned if you don't speak French. The establishment is well-decorated and maintained with vintage and artistic touches. The breakfast is reasonable and the owner leaves you alone to your devices. If you are of the temperament that doesn't appreciate intrusive owners, this might be the... More

The house was lovely, with large rooms beautifully furnished. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Silky bedlinen and a large comfortable bed. Very interesting and lively area with lots of bars and dining just a short walk away.

I had a very nice stay here. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was large and charming. The location is great, with a definite local feel but not too far from the museums and historic areas and shopping and transportation. The name is representative: This is more of chambres d'hôtes than a hotel….but if you don't need a... More

If you like space and atmosphere, this is a place for you. This B&B provides the guest with a big room and a big bed, and a big bathroom. In my first visit to Belgium, I stayed at the Ibis in Ghent. It was one of the smallest rooms I had ever seen. This B&B is the opposite. This is... More

I echo all the previous glowing reviews of Chambres en Ville. The rooms are lovely and overflowing with charm. I was traveling solo and my already spacious twin room had a HUGE bathroom with a claw foot tub AND shower. Just outside the hotel is a quaint little square with a half dozen restaurants/bars that make it easy to immediately... More

We booked our room at Chambres en Ville months before our November 2013 stay and requested a specific room, La Gustavienne, based on the photos on the website. We were not disappointed. We loved the rustic Swedish country style of the room and had a wonderful, restful stay while there. Our hosts were friendly, helpful to us (first time visitors... More
