Stay here as convenient for an office nearby that I visit from time to time. Had a room at the back which was brighter that the ones on the top floor. There is now a kettle and coffee etc in the rooms which is a welcome addition. Gym and lift out of action due to renovations- disappointing
Expensive for nothing. 300 € deposit for my room and my friends 100 € .bad food in the room service.noise tram close my room and i asked for quite room. Never book here .I give it one star not 5 . Nothing close to hotel . Little soap ....how it got 5 stars and for what.
Staff need to be trained on hospitality and courtesy. Queen bed is not actually a queen size but two smaller ones put together. Air-conditioning is broken. Furniture are old. Trimmings on the walls are falling apart. The floor lobby reeks of the smell of smoke. Breakfast buffet selection is poor and same every day. Only changes 1 or 2 dishes. Worst part is... I LOST MY WIRELESS EARPHONES in the hotel room. Never going back here again. Do yourself a favor and go to other hotels instead.
I had been in this hotel a couple of times some years ago and I had found it to be a bit old fashioned but very confortable and with efficient staff. My last experience yesterday was quite different: I got a noisy room at the first floor, with view on the tramway rail; in the bathroom the loud ventilator was permanently running; in the bedroom it was very cold notwithstanding the noisy heating; the very thin duvet was definitely not enough; wifi was intermittent; at the moment of checking out there was a big queue because, even if the hotel was apparently fully booked, there was only an employee at the reception desk, whose computer was not working properly (maybe because it was as old and unkept like the rest of this once beautiful hotel). The only positive things were the size of the bedroom and the price. Guys, you need to renovate the hotel or to say openly that it has become a three star hotel.…
While I would agree with other reviews that this is not a 5 star hotel, we’d a very pleasant stay in a great location at a reasonable price. I found the staff very friendly and attentive. The facilities are simply not the standard of a 5 star but neither is the price. Rooms are a good with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was just ok - very limited fresh fruit, bad coffee machine coffee, and almost nothing made to order. In general, hotel is good value forshort stay
