It is worth to mention that this is our second time that we stayed at this island. The first one was on August 2016. Then, January 2017. On both occasions, we stayed for 3 nights each. The accommodations are good enough for an island experience, with A/C, Cable, Internet. Location of the island is beautiful. Our children loved the pool....

We took the day trip. The iron man race was taking place that day so traffic was crazy. Our taxi driver had called the boat to wait because our 5 minute trip took 45 minutes. . I was about an hour & a trip to the island & theviews of the city spectacular. We were offered a trip to an...

First of all: For your own sake and safety: Stay away! Loud music from morning to evening and always the same tape repeated after 60 min even if there are only 5 guests in the hotel and Isla Grande is supposed to be a natural reserve. Interesting combination of not having buffet because not enough guests are on site and...

I also must say I went in low season, and we spend the night there less than 10 people. You take a boat, included in the price, in Muelle de la bodeguita in Cartagena. The boat is for people staying at the hotel and people going there for the day tour. Departs at 8:45 ish and it takes an hour...

I've been to 4 out of 27 beaches in Rosario and there really all the same with just a few nuisances. They describe to us a white beach and white sand and to our chagrin it's not what their picture shows. The only thing that they have exactly in common are the over zealous beach vendors which some down know...

We wanted to stay away from crowded Playa Branca, so the tourists guy suggested us this place. It takes 45 minutes from Cartagena by boat, and honestly it was kind of disappointing. The hotel is old, maybe in the old days it used to be a great resort but now it is decadent. No beach actually, there's an artificial lagoon...

I'm writing this review after spending all day on terrible locals-only boat tour of the aquarium and playa Blanca (people nonstop trying to sell you things, huge pieces of coral in the ocean will cut your feet). Here goes - yesterday we put down a deposit with a Cocoliso rep for their VIP trip to their private resort on isla...
