We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in this lovely house. From our arrival, when we were greeted with tea and homemade chocolate cake, we were made to feel welcome by this delightful couple. We stayed in Jill which was spacious with sofas to relax in after long days on the nearby coastal path. Breakfasts are varied, beautifully cooked...

We had a lovely time here. Very comfortable room that included sofa and armchair, and an extra bed, though we didn't need this. Breakfast was varied and plenty of choice and high quality. Very friendly hosts. A very peaceful place. We walked to Robsons fish restaurant in Craster on two evenings, using the incredibly beautiful coastal path. Great food, but...

Glad you enjoyed the walks along the Coastal Path. Bit late in the year now, but wonderful in the Summer.

We stayed in Jill which suited us completely. Your hosts are there when you need them, along with Linda who serves the breakfasts. I think it's fair to say that they, and the people we met in the area, were some of most friendly we've met in the world. Not an exaggeration, they really were. Local information is offered freely...

Christine and David run a superb B&B right in the middle of an AONB. Great breakfasts and a warm welcome combine to make The Old Rectory a top place to stay for both the Northumberland coast and its hinterland.
