We couldn't have wanted more - we loved our stay at the Old Hall Country House. It's a delightful house lovingly cared for and restored. Beautifully clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing with fresh eggs from the hens in the garden. We stayed for three nights but could have stayed longer we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Simon...

We went to the Old Hall for our traditional mother day afternoon tea. It was fabulous like usual and Simon and Gary are the perfect hosts! The Old Hall and it's grounds are beautiful and wonderful to look round on a peaceful afternoon.

We are staying again in Madeley at this superb location. 400 years old and still going strong! The decor is tasteful and interesting - the breakfast superb and I am always a fan of a gratis Sherry decanter in my room. Highly recommend it for coupes or small groups... not ideal really for kids or wee babies due to the...

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night in the Charles II suit which was utterly stunning. The room was absolutely beautiful with so much space, the bathroom also was enormous with a huge bath tub. Our host Simon was amazing, showing us around the hotel with so much enthusiasm with the biggest of smiles ive ever seen. In the...

We stayed here, regrettably for only one night, on our way home after a long stay in Somerset with an aged parent who was very unwell. After nearly 4 months away from home we thought we'd treat ourselves to something rather better that your average B&B and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our welcome was all you could wish for, Simon...

Cleaned to perfection, decorated with style and excellent taste it was the dream stay I've always wanted. The owners cannot do enough to make your visit pleasant....

My wife and I enjoyed a recent 2 day stay in this wonderful guest house. Simon and Gary have created something very special with a level of service that it would be churlish to deny is absolutely faultless. The rooms are sumptuous and incorporate period features that blend with more contemporary features including stylish bathrooms to provide a high level...

If I were to list the characteristics we would like to see in a Bed & Breakfast establishment this establishment would have them all and more. The previous night we had stayed in a very clean and adequately furnished Premier Inn hotel, with nothing to complain about. This was better in every way, and raises the bar for any notion...
