I had a flat iron steak, my brother had the chicken & chorizo. We both really enjoyed the food, my brother a former chef was particularly impressed. It's great to see this place back on its feet. Wish the new landlord n landlady all the best. Keep doing food like that and you'll fill the place

We (two adults and one little girl) had just stumbled into the Crewe arms following a long day out. Have to say we were massively surprised, food was brilliant (tapas for adults and a gorgeous pasta for child) and the service was amazing. Never even thought of going here before but we will return. Give it a try.

The Crewe arms reopened on the 20th may 2016 and thank goodness. It is a pleasure to walk into now as the place ha been beautifully decorated, the carpets are brand new , back bar fittings are new and the whole place has a new ambience. Food is excellent with a lovely tapas menu at about £18-00 per head served...

Booked the hotel via the hotel's own website mid-week for a Saturday night stay for a reunion, turned up to all the doors locked, no telephone response, all chairs on the tables inside with plants in the window almost dead (seems like its been this way for a while) & paper signs up stating due to unforeseen circumstances they are...

We reserved a table for Friday evening, as it turned out, no need, as there was only us in the restaurant. It was like private dining. Our waiter was Adam, he was great. Very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was good, value for money, the wine was also well priced. It's been a long...

I'm glad we neglected to read the reviews before booking this hotel or it would've put us off. As it was we read them after booking and therefore were expecting the worst. What we found was a hearty warm welcome, great food and a nicely presented room. The only minus points were a very dated bathroom, an antiquated portable TV...

We stayed at the Crewe Arms Hotel, we were skeptical about attending due to the reviews, however I have to disagree. The staff who checked us in were 2 ladies who made us very welcome upon our arrival providing us with two free coffees. The rooms were excellent value for the price we paid in a Wowcher deal. Within the...

We went on Saturday night as we hadn't been for a while and the meals had always been fairly good for us. The main point for most would be that currently they can't serve any alcohol, we can manage with that so we went ahead. We turned up without booking and there was a notice on the door, but nothing...
