Newly renovated rooms and top-notch hospitality from Peter was the reason we returned to this great place. Peter is a wonderful host and chef and our kids enjoyed the countless varieties of delicious pizzas and pastas on his menu. We will come again!

Owners were very helpful and friendly. We arrived late and they re-opened the bar for us. Nice breakfast, plenty of car parking. Rooms were very comfortable and modern. We stayed for a hiking break but the hotel would also make a good value, nice base for skiing in Zermatt.

Got to the hotel quite early since the weather was bad and we weren't able to hike the expected route for the day, and though it was only 11 our room was ready and hotel most accommodating. Stayed in room 4 which was lovely with a huge shower and very modern pretty bathroom. We also had a large balcony with...

It's an unpretentious place on the road to Zermatt, or rather to the train at Taisch for transport to no-cars Zermatt (chf16 return). Popular with locals. Run by Peter, a relaxed friendly helpful guy. We had good rooms, but the highlight was the restaurant food - really excellent. A very varied menu with reasonable prices. Probably our best value night...

Nice big and newly refurbished rooms and bathrooms - a lot of wood in the rooms (floor and walls) makes the room smell a bit like one of those upmarket posh Saunas - loved this. room has everything you need incl. Wifi and Balcony. Can be a bit noisy at it is close to the street but over night there...

The Hotel's dining room was not open on the evening that we stayed and even though the Hoteliers had let us know this a few days before via email they still booked us into another restaurant and left us a bottle of wine in our room as 'an apology' for the inconvenience. This was totally unnecessary as St Niklaus had...

Our family stayed 4 nights while skiing each day in Zermatt. Peter and his wonderful staff treated us like family and bent over backwards to make our stay an exceptional experience. The bountiful and delicious breakfast was a great start to each day and after a long day of skiing we came "home" to fabulous meals that were very reasonably...
