The room was decorated in a traditional style with wooden shutters and sliding doors. The décor was pretty dated though and in need of updating - everything was worn from the bathroom to the bedsheets with holes & tears all over. I had a western bed but Korean style also available. Unfortunately my bed was rock hard and I had...

Stayed at this hotel to attend wedding held in the banquet rooms. The lobby, restaurant and common areas are generally well kept. Staff was very helpful and breakfast ordered off the menu was very tasty. The rooms is where the hotel needs help. The rooms walls and ceilings are dirty, vanity in the bathroom cracked and chipped. Paint worn off...

Decor is stright out of the early seventies. Shower blasts at you horizontally and large amounts of water end up on bathroom floor, which is probably why the bottom of the door frame has rotted away. Staff are nice but this place desperately needs refurbishing. For what you get seems overpriced.

I came to this hotel for a stay for the second time. This is an old 5-flower hotel in this area and the tour guide said it is popular as being the one and only one of this class there. Being old itself is not a problem with this hotel. Its main problem is the continuous use of dirty, stained...

Location was fine. As others have said, this place badly needs to be renovated. Everywhere. There are dirt smudges on the walls and it's the only hotel I've ever stayed at that left you a can of bug spray in your room (near the mini bar). While I didn't need it, that is not a good sign. While I really...

The good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the historic Hanok Village. Unfortunately we arrived late and by the time we see the village it is kind of dark. What a waste and the next morning we got to depart to another place. Good to time the checking of hotel early so that you could find time to...

Changed the name but not the carpeting; a great location next to Hanok Village in a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy; foodies can walk to top rated restaurants. If your expectations are modest and you came for the historic neighborhood, it's OK.

Location is excellent being immediately adjacent to historic Hanok Village. The staff was helpful and friendly. My room was a bit worn but adequate. We breakfasted in a dining room overlooking the roofs of the ancient Hanok Village buildings, and had a nice, though expensive, meal.

Great location, but far too much wrong with it. The rooms are very tired, beds were uncomfortable, no shower gel in the bathroom, staff didn't speak much English, no information desk, what more can I say. Price of a room was similar to a 4 star in Seoul, but this is no more than a 3 star at best.
