The views, the surroundings, the food: it was all lovely. We had a large room, without a view of the lake but that didn't really matter as you're nearly ever there: there's so much to do. I can absolutely recommend the little airplane (hydravion) and the GEOS spa. Food is delicious, the service excellent. Must see!

Thank you very much for your great comments about our rooms, location and food. It's a pleasure for us to give the chance to our guest to have a seaplane ride over the Réserve Faunique Mastigouche. We hope you will come see us again for a relaxing time at the Geos Spa. Kind regards, Rachelle Larivière rachelle@sacacomie.com / 819-265-4444 More

Hotel Sacacomie is a 5-star idea done very well by a team of people that genuinely care about guests having a relaxing time. The hotel looks exquisite, from the moment you walk into the reception with roaring fire (even in summer) to the time when you step onto the terrace and take a view of the stunning lake below. It's... More

One might remain puzzled by a 4 stars hotel with so basic and small rooms, at that quite expensive price. However, we have finally appreciated it a lot, so well integrated in the Nature. We had a lake-view room, and we think it is a must to choose such a room: that view is fantastic! The breakfast and the dinner... More

Lovely setting on the lake and good canoe facilities at the beach. The breakfast is very good so is the evening meal although a little expensive. The free to use pool is very small with maximum of ten people so is a little disappointing as can be busy. The hotel is meant to be rustic though the room is a... More

We booked a suite at a very high price with my friends.. At this price I would expect an air condition in the room. Instead there was a wall fan just above the bed. The room seemed quite stuffy and I had to put the fan on for a short period. There was no Tv in the room which I... More

Thank you for your comments about our hotel. We don't have TV in most of the rooms because the spirit of the hotel is to connect with the nature. Fot the air condition, most of the rooms are offering a balcony with a lake view so at night the temperature gets colder because we are located in mountains. Please don't... More

I have visited Hotel Sacacomie in June 2016 as part of a weekend retreat with my better half. I can say that it was one of my best experiences ever, not only because of the hotel services but mainly due to the surrounding area and what nature offers you in this part of Quebec. Here's how my experience went: 1-... More

The location is ideal, however it may be hot during a heat wave. Lots of activities to do around, all organized by the hotel. Would have been nice to be able to light a campfire some place near the hotel. Great spot to relax.

The hotel is very beautiful in the country style. There is a lot of fun to guests. The rooms have beautiful views and are very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. This hotel is an hour and a half from Montreal. I enjoyed the days that have stayed at the Hotel Sacacomie

Let me start by saying that I was hesitating to quote 3 or 4 stars. Finally I decided to go for 3 for following reasons. The hotel is somewhat outdated and needs an upgrade. Spa is at extra cost and children under 15 are not allowed (which was annoying for us because my youngest daughter is 13). The indoor pool... More
