Went as a group on a Saturday night.
Beautiful grounds overlooking Little Lake.
Had an early reservation.so were quickly seated and plyed with refreshments. Took a while to receive appetizers and main course but when you go to a place like this you expect to be able to relax. Suprising size of the appetizers. My wifes salad was large enough to share with 2 other people. It was delicious. The entries were a good size but lack size with the veggies and so delicious taters. Our server was very efficient.
Desert was in the piano room where they had a great pianist playing tunes for all genre.
Overall a great.experience.

It sounds like you had a wonderful experience. It's great to hear that despite a bit of a wait the experience was still enjoyable, and relaxing. Ending the evening taking in the live entertainment sounds like a delightful way to wrap up the night. Thank you for sharing your positive feedback and describing the overall great experience!

My family and I decided to leave the city for a little downtime, beat the heat and celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have never been to Rawley before and so glad we found this Port Severn hideaway on a picturesque waterfront. Upon our arrival the first stand out was the focal point lighthouse which houses a top floor, panoramic view of spectacular sunsets as well as home to a games room, library and gift shop on the lower levels. The building was festively adorned with dozens of Canadian flags to commemorate July 1st Canada Day. The property is clean with well kept landscaping and the lakefront was so entrancing you could just sit in one of the many chairs and just gaze; mesmerized by the calming waters.

Those waters was the main reason we decided to stay in one of the four waterside lofts on the property, with a spectacular, bedroom, balcony view of the lake and sunsets. There are other suites and rooms on the property but this one is closest to the water and was also pet friendly so we could bring our four legged family member. The waterside lofts are well equipped with a kitchenette, washroom, living area and walkout to the docks on the lower level and a bedroom upstairs with a vaulted, beam ceiling, 2 beds, a luxurious bathroom and a double French door, walkout to the balcony with an amazing, unobstructed waterfront view.

Conveniently, just steps away from our door are a heated salt water pool and the newly renovated Lakeside spa with hot tub and sauna views of the lake. There is also the Lighthouse restaurant where we enjoyed great meals and service on the patio. We truly enjoyed the cleanliness and attention to detail that the resort and staff provided, they even surprised us with complimentary drinks and chocolate dipped strawberries delivered to our room for our anniversary stay. I definitely would recommend a stay on this historic property and plan on visiting again soon.

With altered plans for our 25th Anniversary due to COVID-19, I decided to book here to surprise my wife with a little getaway. After having delivered to the resort for several years and thinking that it was such a well kept and inviting looking property, we finally got the opportunity to sample it firsthand - and it met our expectations and then some! Check in was fast and friendly even though we arrived a little earlier than expected, and my surprise charcuterie platter arrived to our room at just the perfect moment. We stayed in the Trent Executive room, and it was spacious, spotless, and very well appointed. Just a note that the jetted tub is only a one person at a time kind of tub, so be ready to take turns. We had dinner and breakfast in the room, and both meals were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Portions were also generous. All the staff we met were excellent - they were careful at maintaining COVID protocols, and yet made us feel very welcome at the same time. We would definitely recommend Rawley to friends and family, and look forward to our next special stay here!

We visited on the advice of some boating friends. The Marina is excellent value with BBQ, and use of all facilities and super clean pool & hot tub. We chose to stay overnight in a cottage style rooms which was very spacious and comfortable and overlooks the water.

One of the two things that really shines here is the restaurant. It is gorgeous, and the food top quality. Lamb is a must and the special Ribeye competed with any steakhouse I've been to.

The second wonderful thing here are the staff. Everyone was very engaging and friendly which really was noticed and appreciated while staff shortages elsewhere make taking time to chat with guests difficult, the staff at Rawley's was on top of things and fantastic in every way. This is in no small way a result of the tireless efforts and guest engagement of the the General Manager Karen.

There are some things to be aware of if you are coming by boat... the lock construction has cut off the easy walk to town if that matters to you. Directly across the road is an LCBO, a nice grocery store and variety store both with great Muskoka wear and gifts, and there is also a fantastic place for a casual breakfast or lunch (the Cabin) and coffees which is super charming.

While not ideal for lake swimming, the pool and hot tub are impeccably clean and perfect temperature. it might have been a nice addition to be able to have a canoe or kayak to use, but this is a place to relax and chill fwithout effort, not so much an activity based experience. If you are looking for a beautiful setting with great food and super friendly staff, this is the place!

We booked a two night stay at Rawley Resort at the beginning of a week long visit to the Muskokas and Algonquin Park. We wish we would have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. During our visit the elevator was out of service and every staff member we met while carrying our luggage offered to help with no hesitation. Our suite was very large with a small kitchenette, large sitting area with a sofa and chair and fireplace, and a large bedroom with king size bed, desk and large wardrobe. The bathroom was well appointed. Overall, the accommodations were a 10+. Rawley Resort has a beautiful setting on the water with spacious grounds and docking facilities for boaters. Although we did not use them, there is a spa and exercise facility on site. We had breakfast and dinner both days at the Resort and the food and service were both excellent. We ordered a charcuterie tray for our arrival and it was very good and was more than enough to enjoy two nights before dinner. Both nights there was live music in the dining room from 6:30 to 9:30 which added to our dining pleasure. Although closed during our stay, there is also an outdoor patio area and a fire pit. Our stay at Rawley’s was exceptional and we have no hesitation recommending this resort to anyone planning a visit to the Port Severn area.

We returned today after spending a lovely day and evening. We opted for the package which included dinner and breakfast. We had the basic room with a water view, and phenomenal large balcony. The patio just opened and we had a truly delicious breakfast and dinner outdoors. After being quarantined for 3 months it was so incredibly wonderful to sit outside have someone prepare and bring us food and coffee, wow, it felt so good. Gorgeous scenery. Very attentive and kind staff. All the dining room staff is wearing a face shield. Lots of hand sanitizers through out the property and in room. I will definitely return. The new manager also came out to make sure we were being well looked after and enjoying our stay. Excellent experience.

Rawley Resort is truly perfect. Superb location by the lake, super clean and impeccably maintained property with friendly and kind staff. The rooms are spacious, balconies face the lake, climb to the top floor provides lovely view of the vicinity. The entire place is obviously very well managed and all arrangements are made with comfort of the clients in mind. The only thing one needs to do is to keep it as a secret, so it does not become overcrowded!

My spouse and myself had been looking forward to an overnight stay at Rawley for weeks.
First off location was spectacular and staff very friendly and helpful.
I had chosen the Junior Waterfront suite at $338 + tax which for an overnight stay felt was a little pricey but had expectations of a little luxury. This was the most basic room we have stayed in for a long time. Balcony certainly was a treat and the room was spotlessly clean.
We had dinner which also let us down. My husband took salmon, which was dry. I had the ravioli which was stodgy and tasteless. We were given a free drink at the end of the meal to compensate for our comments on the meal.

Next morning due to staff shortages only a continental breakfast was to be offered…beginning at 8.00am.
When we arrived for breakfast only coffee, yogurt and a little fruit were available…we were told someone had gone to a store for more supplies.

The patio below our deck had tables with dirty dishes left from the previous evening.

Pricing and quality do not come close to matching.

Thank you for your recent stay with us. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know where we didn’t meet your expectations. It has been a challenging summer when it comes to staffing, and although most of our guests have had good things to say about the resort and the meals they had in our Lighthouse45 Restaurant; there have been a few times the quality of food and service has fallen short. We have a new Executive Chef who will be starting with us soon and we hope you will come to join us for a meal and stay with us again, possibly in one of our other suites. We can show you the Rawley Resort experience that our guests have come to know and love. Please contact our Front Office Manager, Ken, or Operations Manager, Andrea at 705-538-2272, if you visit again.

My wife and I took an opportunity to book a one night stay on our trip home from our summer home. My wife suggested an overnight stay having dined their with our daughter a couple of weeks earlier to rave reviews!

The location itself is gorgous; located right on the Trent-Severn waterway and the resort us stunning in every detail. We were greeted by very delightful staff at the reception desk as well as the room service staff that promptly delivered our charcuterie board for some quick nibbling before dinner.

The dining room is very well appointed and open and airy with a great view of the Trent. I dined on a wonderful New York sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and my wife decided on the chicken that were both plentiful and cooked to perfection. Table service was impeccable and very friendly and attentive. From our starter cocktails through to the wonderful 2015 Bordeaux offered at a great price-point, the whole experience was top drawer.

Wonderfully done Rawley! We look forward to seeing you again as our go to stopover for all of our trips again south!

The resort is ok, nothing extra ordinary. It has a nice view of the lake but there is not much else. Port Severn itself is disappointing to say the least.
The restaurant is a saver for the resort: good food, clean, nicely decorated, nice live piano and the food is good. The waiters are wonderful but the 2 front desk persons ( both check in and out) had zero personality. Not even a word spoken or a smile. The suite is spacious. Though for the 500 a night it should at least include a couple pairs of slippers, water bottles, and bathrobes.
The room was clean, we were ok with it until the night came then we realized the wall was paper thin. We heard the couple beside us was at it and it felt like forever. Then we heard them talking, flushing toilet, watching TV. On top of that the music from the restaurant was on until midnight . Then at 8 am the music started all over again.
I don't want to speak ill of any establishment because there are many people's lives depend on it. It seems everyone went there had glorious reviews, and i am happy for the resort. I guess it was not for us.
