Plus side. Room was clean and warm...perfect. Minus side. This motel is a truck stop so we heard truck in and out through the night. The resto is ok, size of the pizza plate is enough for a good eater like me. Breakfast also ok. Excellent service
The rooms are a bit dated. I stayed one night and it does the job when you cannot find anything else around. It is clean and the staff very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed supper and breakfast at this location. The food was excellent.
This Motel was good for me as I was there to watch the Motocross races in Deschambault. It is small and dated. It was full and I had asked for two queen beds but only had a room with one. They said they would have an extra mattress for me in the room. Check in was good and she was very nice. But getting to the room it had the one bed and cushions, which looked like they were off a lounge chair as the second mattress. A couple blankets and pillows to make up the bed. So I phoned and asked for some sheets and a few more cushions to at least make it a bit softer. No sheets came with the extra cushions so I phoned again and asked for them. They brought one and said that is all they had. Then I discovered the air conditioner didn't work but it was too late to call so I dealt with the heat. If it were not for the location I would have chosen a different Motel. One night it did the trick but that is it. The staff was very nice and did try to do the best they could under these conditions of being full.…
You get what you pay for. The location was good. The rooms are dated but the beds were comfortable although the pillows were quite worn out. The restaurant on site is a bonus because there is nothing else around there. Huge portions of average food.
Good prices for a lot of food! I couldn finished everything. Nice to stop here if you are going way to Quebec. The restaurant is quiet and charming. Very nice and kind service. They speak French and english
After a lovely stay in Edmunston, driving through heavy rains and trying to tolerate the effects of 2 cruise ships docked in Quebec City we decided on staying in this hotel/motel right on route 40 just west of Q.C. It met all our needs for 2 weary travellers. The rooms are showing a little age through the furniture but it's clean, service is friendly, restaurant food is excellent with reasonable prices. What more could a person ask for in that price range? It seems to be a favourite stop for truckers as well with a large staging area for overnight parking of large rigs. We stayed in room 214 and it was quiet, clean and is a place we'd stay at again. It's within 1/2 hour of Quebec City at the junction of highway #138 & #40 with easy access to the major arteries. Who needs the high prices of Old Town Q.C. when you can stay here?…
