This bed and breakfast is beautiful, secluded and romantic. Our room was lovely and spacious, and the innkeeper was very kind and welcoming. We only stayed one night but wish we had chosen to stay longer. Breakfast was great. The restaurant was closed for dinner the night that we were there, which was disappointing as we had heard good things.

My brother and I did a little road trip in Quebec earlier this month, and we really enjoyed our stay at La Maison D. It's got a quirky charm, the building is beautiful, and there's a feeling of rich history in the place. Also, for breakfast, we were served the best crepes I have ever tasted (if you're wondering, they...

This is a very pleasant place to stop on the outskirts of Quebec City, if you want to get off the autoroute and explore a little. It's a handsome old building (built in 1790) with four or five bedrooms. We passed up the dinner but wished we had another chance, as the breakfast the next morning was quite good (especially...

An absolutely charming historic home. This place is a real gem, private setting, comfortable, clean and lots of old world charm. The room was excellent and bathroom had updated fixtures. I enjoyed an amazing dinner. It was impressive how elegant the meal was and the breadth of the menu. The owners utilize many local sources for their foods and beverages....

I've stayed at the Maison Deschambault a few times under its previous owner, so was a little uncertain when I heard it was under new ownership. Not to worry - the new owner is great, the chef is the same, service and rooms are still very nice. This will continue to be my go-to place to stay when in the...

A lovely manorial house, now converted to a small inn, with its own restaurant (which was unfortunately not open on the Monday night we were there). On the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, in the Portneuf tourist area between Trois-Rivieres and Quebec City. Beautiful grounds, with benches to sit and enjoy the peace. Very friendly and helpful staff,...

Our family of 4, including 2 small children, stayed for two nights. The auberge was a little bit more inn like than other bed and breakfasts that we have stayed at - this was very much appreciated as we did not feel like we were disturbing others with our active group. The grounds are large and beautiful with room to...

We recently enjoyed four nights of excellent hospitality at the Auberge. The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the hosts fantastic. We were there with a large party, including small children and we got the royal treatment. Thank you Claude and Helene.

The hotel was sold to new owners in 2013. The reputation was built on the work, personality and cooking skills of the old owners, and the new owners just don't have it. Room quality varies widely and cleanliness is now spotty. Over 2 stays in July/Aug 2013 just a couple of weeks apart, the quality of the two rooms stayed...
