Inn keepers were very responsive to emails and waited up for me even though I arrived in the evening of an off-season November weekday and was the only guest that night. I was neonetheless greeted to friendly banter and was upgraded to the suite! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets had a nice fresh scent. The house dates...

Called here for a night on our car journey up the Chemin du Roy towards Quebec City. Our welcome was very warm and our rooms provided every facility. The attention to detail was impressive.. The house itself is very quirky but that adds to the charm. The gardens are beautiful providing ample seated areas for early evening on a summer's...

We found this wonderful little hotel/chateau/b&b late one night while travelling to Quebec City from Kingston, Ontario. Picked up immediately that we were English speaking. Our room had 2 single beds in it and was big enough for our needs. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I have ever had from a b&b anywhere. The dining...

This beautiful centennial house is just like an old lady, proud and noble despite the time that has passed. Well preserved in the midst of its quiet green space, this guest house has been quite a beautiful discovery for us. Thanks to our hosts for this very nice stay, a delicious dinner (sorry for the understatment!) and an equally delicious...

This is very nice B&B located a few minutes drive from "Downtown" Deschambault, Quebec. Lise (the host) and Jocelyn (the chef) are wonderfully helpful and kind. Dinner is a three or four course affair - very French - and the breakfasts are thoughtfully different and tasty. Our room (the suite) had a great view of the river but the bathroom...

Lovely house, situated on a quiet road a stone's throw from the St. Lawrence, with expansive fields behind. The owners are a lovely, caring couple who gave their full attention to making our stay special. If you stay here, you must eat at the house, as the food is excellent! A real treat! A great experience - highly recommended!

What a wonderful B&B! Our room was lovely--it was very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The hosts were charming. She (wish I remembered her name) doesn't speak English but was wonderful in dealing with my limited French. He (names? my fault for not remembering) speaks English and was quite helpful. They offer dinner for their guests, and it was superb....

It was our second-last night of vacation to the east coast and back. We had picked this spot to be close to the St. Lawrence River and it was perfect! We received a very warm welcome and shown to our room. This historical home boasts numerous pieces of art that all can enjoy. The decorating is in keeping with this...

We were biking from Montreal to Quebec City and so we didn't always have unlimited options about where we'd stay. B & Bs can be a bit rustic or too charming. Not this place. We had the front room on the left as you came upstairs. It had multiple windows so there was incredible air and the ability to here...

A group of us biked into this lovely old house absolutely drenched from a torrential downpour. Little did we know that the host had driven along the road to pick us up if we had needed it. The rooms were lovely, each with their own character and the hard working hosts were always there with a smile. We had a...
