Detailed Reviews
The cabin was very well equipped for cooking, great hot water for showers, boats in good condition, host friendly and very accommodating. Exceptional screened lake side lounge/gazebo. Charming lake, home to loon families. Highly recommended.

We would stay again!
Booking was easy via email and Kerry and Ron were available by phone if there were any issues. When we had a booking mix-up, we were upgraded to their directly on the lake lakefront Pioneer cabin. It was the perfect size for the two of us and made for adequate cooking and lounging space for our full 6 days that we stayed. Dustin enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning watching the ducklings swim and listening to the loons call. Kerry gave us tips on how to keep the cabin cool despite the full south facing wall of windows that gave us our spectacular view, especially during a lightning storm one night.
Use of paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and rowboats was included in the rental, and made for a beautiful morning paddle before it got too hot and the fish started jumping. Ron was happy to find an option that fit us for whatever we were up to and super helpful and kind.
Their motorboat and pontoon boat rentals rates were more than fair and Ron gave good fishing tips, with extra hooks available a short drive down the road at Anahim Lake. We’ve never seen a lake where the fish are as active as Nimpo!
Overall, we adored Ron and Kerry! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in Loon Cabin for 3 nights. There are four cabins available for rent, each with a covered front porch, firepit and beautiful view of the lake. Our cabin was very well equipped and clean. We cooked all meals in and I found the kitchen well set up for that.
No wifi at the cabin but we could go to the common are gazebo to catch up on emails etc. It was actually very nice not to have internet as distraction from the nature around us.
They offer free use of a canoe and kayaks. The motorized fishing boats are available for rent, just show your PCOC. We had great weather and I loved my time kayaking on the calm water with loons calling and fish jumping all around me. Only complaint is we didn't stay long enough!

We were suppose to stay 4 nights and ended up staying 2 more nights because we blew a tire and it took the additional days to get a new tire up to Nimpo Lake. If we had to be stranded, this was the place to be. So peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, very comfortable cabin. Learnt how to use a woodstove! Kerry, our host, was amazing. She was able to organized another guest coming up to pick up the tire in Williams Lake and bring it to the resort. She also made phone calls to the local mechanic to put the new tire on. Everything came together with the help of Kerry. Will come back in the future!

Beautiful spot with fish jumping out of the lake and lots of wildlife activity. The cabin we stayed in was right on the shore and we loved the deck, the tiny cabin and wood stove for cool nights. Tip...light the stove in the morning because lighting it at night made cabin too warm to sleep. The place is for sale, we had a few issues finding someone to speak to for boat rental, questions and not warm and fuzzy during interactions, seems the owners may be tired of dealing with public and I am sure they get their share of aggravating guests. Loved that we could bring our dog, she enjoyed the week too.

Hi Cathie, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. I do apologize if you had a negative interaction with someone. Not knowing the details, I cannot comment further on that, and especially since too much time has passed to know what went on. We do hope to see you again and make it a warmer, fuzzier experience.

We stayed in the rustic cabin and we were both quite happy with the accommodations. they provided everything we needed. As minimalists it was nice to have no access to the wifi and we did not care about walking to the outhouses for the bathroom. Free showers were the best with towels provided!!! Loved the gazebo with a firepit in it for us to have a fire in the evenings.

+1
We loved our stay at the Hilltop cabin. The cabin was clean & had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable & the view was spectacular. We used the potbelly stove to keep the cabin warm & cozy at night. Enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks. Highly recommend!

September 22 -26, 2021 my son and myself shared an extremely well-appointed log housekeeping cabin. Cabins are well spaced throughout the property. There is a good dock and rental boats are available. The Rainbow Trout fishing in Nimpo Lake was very productive. The setting is beautiful; and at this time of year the leaves turning golden was an enhancement. This is the second time we have stayed there.
We have booked next year.

very comfortable cabin with a fabulous view of the lake. We received a really nice welcome. They fixed a light bulb issue very quickly. The fireplace kept us warm, in the morning. Very central to our interests, 2 hours from Bella Coola, which was our primary goal. I would stay here again.

Room Tip:Â the only kayak I found, was too small for my medium sized male frame. Otherwise, all was fine.

We stayed here for the night in an RV site. It was right up against the water. Only weird thing is the camp next to us had a dismantled tent with water and gatorade and banana's out.
The lake was so beautiful. Bugs were very bad. I could see staying longer, it is a very relaxing quiet location.

Hi Rachel, I'm sorry I didn't see this last year or I would have replied sooner. I can't recall why that camp next to you was in that state, unless the people camping were just off on a hike for a few days. We always clean up after guests check out. We hope to see you again.

Hello. I'm sorry I didn't get a notification about your question on tripadvisor. We don't have much camping space anymore, just two RV spaces and one tent space. RV sites are $40 with full service including firewood and showers.
Feel free to email us directly. More information is available on our website.
It is too cold for swimming until July, and then it warms up enough to go in. August is the warmest water temperatures and then it cools down again in September.
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we do have a cabin available Aug 1,2. The Hilltop cabin. I don't want to call you too early, so I will wait until 9 am, but if you are up and wish to call back you can use our toll free number 877-NIMPO88 to call us. We look forward to speaking with you. Regards, Kerry
