We enjoyed a glorious short stay at Seefin Cottage at Castleoliver Farm in August 2013 - the cottage is beautifully appointed and really are a home from home. A great deal of care has been taken and the standard is far higher than you find in most self catering cottages. The surroundings are really special; you can wake in the...

Stayed at Castleoliver Farm last weekend for a wedding at the Castle across the road. We booked the Coach House and some friends had booked Seefin Cottage. Both were very nicely appointed, especially the Coach House which is simply stunning. The owner Alyce was incredibly friendly, very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The location is lovely, just beneath...

This is my second time staying here and on my return I found the place to be as charming and wonderful as the last time. This time we took two houses and both where fresh and beautifully decorated. The finishing touches where outstanding as I would expect from the quality of my previous visit. Alyce and Michael where fantastic hosts...

Travelled to Ireland all the way from NZ to be a guest at an amazing wedding at Castle Oliver. Shame about the accomadation. Unit we had was damp, smelt musty, beds were damp and floor in the bathroom was constantly wet. We had to buy hot water bottles to warm our beds. Over priced for what we received. Thank god...

My family booked the Coach house at Castle Oliver farm for a week beginning 27th October, 2012, the welcome we got from Alyce was amazing, the accommodation had everything you could need and more, well beyond expectations. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were waiting for us when we arrived and fire lit. It was pure heaven. The beds are so...

These are great cottages in a beautiful but remote place, but they fall far short of their potential and have poor value for money. There was a strong musky smell, the TV did not work, and iron almost ruined our clothes. Dogs run free, scaring the bejaysus out of our children. The entrance gate closes at night and cannot be...

These cottages are in a great location in a beautiful part of the world, but beware if you don't like dogs. The owners let their dogs run around the site at all hours of the day and night, and in my experience they will disturb your sleep. As someone uncomfortable around dogs I would have preferred them to be kept...

We stayed at Blackrock Cottage for the Munster Show dog show circuit in August. We couldn't have asked for a nicer cottage, and the position was great. Alyce and Michael made us feel really welcome - Irish hospitality is not over exaggerated!! - and were very helpful. l would love to go back, and would highly recommend Castleoliver Farm.

We stayed at the Millhouse at the Castleoliver Farm for 5 nights. The cottage was perfect. We cooked dinner ourselves most nights in the full kitchen, sat in front of the fireplace every night, and enjoyed the view from our porch. The cottage is in a perfect location for day trips in southern Ireland. Most incredible about this property was...

“This is such an amazing location and such spectacular views you dont really want to leave the house, just look out at the scenery, but the location is very handy for touring around Cork, Kerry and Limerick. I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of travelling to Ireland and I cant wait to book to go back myself in 2013. (My youngest daughter asked if I would buy the house so she could stay there).”
