Definitely the best hostel of Taganga!!! No doubts!!! The place is clean and the owner Mona is lovely. Nice and spacious rooms comes with a clean and nice swimming pool. The best part is probably the rooftop bar with an amazing view on Taganga. Watching the sunset from there it's just priceless, something you never get used to. Definitely recommended!!!

Fortunately we found this nice hostel after a bad one in Taganga. The location is not that good and safe but it has a pool and it is cheap for what you get.The owner is really cool, the other staff is ok. They give good recommendation for diving.

Aside from it's structural beauty, the Tortuga is special and I wish there was one in every Colombian city i visited. The size is perfect and so it's never overcrowded. It starts to feel like home pretty quickly and is likely the best sunset spot in town. Do not miss the sunset there ever! Super safe and ultimatly it's a...

Taganga is a small village in Santa Marta, but this hostel has a great location. You can walk to the center of the village, where you'll find bars, restaurants and nightlife. The room was modest but comfortable - no air conditioning but the fan was ok. There's a bar, with a great view. And the pool is really cool! Free...

Great vibe in this hostel. It looked lovely and there was a lovely staff. There is a small turtle which is adorable. The hostel is located over three buildings with three patio's. I only stayed one night but it was a bit difficult because of the division to meet the other guests. There is also only one shower a building...

This place is definitely a great option in Taganga. It is a cool building with a great view and excellent service. Mónica, the owner, and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful, they recommended and helped us booking activities around the area (like scuba diving and hiking the Tayrona) and made our trip more fun and easier. My husband...

What a great place....everyone is so friendly. The drinks are cheap upstairs in the bar with a spectacular view of the bay! The restaurant next door is extremely cheap with excellent food. I have been staying here off and on for the past year. I have probably stayed here for a month total. I will always come back whenever i'm...

It's in a bad location, dangerous, the staff will try to sell you expensive stuff insted of giving you clear advise about the possibilities. The pool was very dirty... for sure there's better options in Taganga...

Staying at La Tortuga was already an experience by itself to begin with; The place is the coolest bamboo construction and the view from the rooftop is quite powerful since Taganga offers one of the most amazing sunsets and sunrises I've seen and then you have the people: from the staff that is very caring and friendly until the bunch...

I have frequented the rooftop patio/bar on many occasions but this time stayed in the hostal for five nights in a private room. Despite having a private room, I got to know the other guests and staff very well. An extremely friendly and laid back place to stay, watch the sunset, and have a few cervezas. Will definitely come back...
