We enjoyed our 2 nights staying here - definitely made use of the pool! The staff are helpful (especially Jennifer - such a fun, lovely person!) We were able to meet people and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing, with music according to your mood - more of a party at night. The bar prices are a little high, but...

We spent one night there before starting the trek to the ciudad perdida. We are in our 30s and this place is better for people in their 20s who like loud music and meeting people. It is probably better for solo than for couples like us. Our room was fine but cold showers as every where else really. There is...

My friends and I stayed here for a night at a time, on two occasions, en route to and from Tayrona National Park. We left our stuff in storage for 3 days while we traveled to the Park and had no issues with getting anything stolen. Elisabeth and friends behind the desk were very helpful in coordinating transportation for us....

I stayed here on two separate occasions and loved every minute. Taganga itself really isn't very nice so having a nice hostel is paramount. It feels like a hotel for starters, the pool, decking and bar area are tastefully done, the kitchen is fully equipped and modern. There is free wifi and 2 computers, very cool tv area with flat...

God where can I start with this place. Firstly I think that all travellers coming to Taganga should realise that it's not the safest place in the world. It's like most Colombian towns you can't really walk around a night which is a shame but here is where La Masia comes into its own. It feels extremely safe, a short...

I loved this hostel, fab pool, great food, lovely communal areas, cleaned all day by fantastic cleaners, lovely helpful reception staff. Great party atmosphere too! I'm going to stay here again when I return to Columbia, I loved this place. Only negative, we had a room with no air conditioning and it's just too hot. Still for an extra 5COP...

Stayed here for 5 nights in total in April 2013 and had a great time. Staff are friendly, pool is amazing and rooms are comfortable. They also let you leave your bag here if venturing to tyrona, lost city etc. hostel is up a hill slightly but definitely worth the extra few minutes walk. Only downside is drinks and food...

Stayed 2 separate nights, while visiting Palomino in between them. Pool table was nice, the bar worked well, rooms were okay, staff was friendly, the swimming pool was nice to have, couple of computers for the customers to use, location quite good, short walk from the beach. Water in the pool could be cleaner. All in all, quite good -...

Stayed a total of 6 nights. A really nice hostel, the pool is really nice, staff really helpful, and pretty social. Restaurant in the hostel is average, BF is worth the price but the rest we had is average, bar is pretty nice, closes/gets quiet 11pm which is nice since a lot of ppl are going up pretty early for...

“I would pick a private room over a dorm. It's easy enough to meet people at the bar and in the pool, and it's nice to have your privacy. The dorms get cramped quick, and there is only one bathroom for 6 people.”

“Dorms with fan are more economic than the ones with air con and if you manage to have one fan in front of your bed then is easy to sleep. Try to get one of the bunk beds at the bottom though, too hot upstarirs!”
