Beautiful location on the Bay of Fundy. Sit on the porch and watch the bald eagles. Very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts, comfortable and clean rooms and great breakfast. You will not walk away hungry. Very convenient for watching the tidal bore and visiting the Bay of Fundy. Not many local restaurants, but you can enjoy a meal at Frieze and Roy, a historic general store, with cafe; an easy walk from the B & B.

The title location is technically wrong but it was the perfect place to experience the Bay of Fundy tides! The room and the breakfast were very nice. Jeff, Shelia, and the two puppies were great hosts. And the view was fantastic! It was just a short drive to the interpretive center and Burncoat Head Park, but the views were better from Cresthaven! Note that this place is not a populated area or a big tourist area. We enjoyed sandwiches at the Mud Slide Cafe, the only placed to eat for miles around. And....there was an eagle nesting right outside the door!

A pristine, serene, and beautiful home located atop a hill literally on the Bay of Fundy shoreline, perfect for tide-watching and leaving the windows open for the soothing sound of the waves. Friendly, helpful, well-informed hosts. Spacious, well-appointed rooms. Ours featured a fireplace, views over the bay, and a selection of local arts and crafts. Bountiful breakfast. Short walk to cafe and general store. Unexpected Bonus: a double rainbow over the bay!

Cresthaven by the Sea was everything it states on their website and more. The views are stunning, Warren was right out to greet us and offered to carry our luggage to our room. Had everything you needed. Breakfast was scrumptious. Thanks to you both for a fabulous stay, Sheila and Jeff

Picturesque location at the mouth of the Shubenacadie River. Stayed one night in the Chestnut Room with a water view. Bed was a bit on the soft side. Room lacked a microwave and tv, but had a small fridge. We had take-out dinner on the beautiful back porch and enjoyed the ebbing tide. Our host was very knowledgeable and provided a great breakfast. The nearest gas station is closed on Sunday and there is only one place to eat at.

A comfortable, warm and welcoming bed and breakfast . The proprietor was friendly and just enough knowledgeable for American tourists. The breakfast was delicious and filling And the house, beautifully renovated and maintained, on the banks of the bay, felt like home. My only regret was not staying there longer.

I think that this is really the only place to stay in Maitland proper. We wanted to see the tidal bore at the Fundy Tidal Interpretive Center in South Maitland so chose this place to stay afterwards. We were very happy with the choice. Cresthaven is a beautiful old house located right where the Shubenacadie River meets the Bay of Fundy. The front porch is a stone's throw from the water, with bald eagles nesting in the tree nearby. Our room (Chestnut) was spacious and very comfortable with a small fridge. The inn keepers are personable and helpful with local advice. Breakfast was delicious. You can walk a few blocks into town for a simple pub meal.

Charming, comfortable and with amazing views of the Bay of Fundy, Warren has created the perfect place to stop for a night or two and enjoy the area. We were only there for a night and wish we had booked two so we could enjoy the majestic views and watch the tides come and go. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is delish.

A memorable place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were concerned that we wouldn't fine a restaurant in the area because we were traveling off-season. Thankfully, the owner recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner in nearby Truro. This small gesture of being referred to the restaurant was a lifesaver and made out stay at Cresthaven by the Sea even more memorable. The B&B property is a real gem with amazing views of the Bay of Fundy. The common living area is warm, inviting with and very comfortable; we had the whole place to ourselves. The owner had even made a fire in the fireplace just for us. Our bedroom was spacious; we couldn't ask for better. The B&B is well maintained, clean, and nicely decorated, breakfast was great too! I certainly recommend Cresthaven by the Sea.

We really enjoyed our time here. My husband and I were looking for a place to stay to check out the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. And this place was perfect. When we arrived the tide was starting to go out and it was amazing watching this over hours in this beautiful yard. I found it so amazing to see how different the area looked when the water was completely out. Our hosts were wonderful. So full of knowledge. He answered so many of our questions and gave us advice for things to see and at what time. The room was great. The breakfast was delicious. And our host even made us a fire in the common area for when we finally came inside. I can't express how much we just enjoyed sitting out in the yard after being in the car for so many days. This was our 1st B&B experience. We usually do hotels or a VRBO. I hope all B&B's are as great as this 1.
