To begin with Luiyang is not a tourist stop, unless you have to visit someone or on some kind of business, typical average small Chinese town, not much to offer, they sell some kind of animal food, that I don't want to mention here, the location of the hotel is by the river, muddy water and grey sky, shops sell...

Stayed here back in July/August 2009 for nearly a month. The Yintian was reasonal price considering they are about the only Hotel catering to westerners there, the alternative was Huatian Hotel which I felt was inferior. Yin tian is an easy walk to town. Nice views over the river and city. In summer (42 degrees) was the only pool I...

We enjoyed our stay at Yintian. The rooms were comfortable and we had lovely views out over the river and towards the mountains in the distance. Western breakfast is available for those not wanting Chinese cuisine first thing. Staff were very attentive and we thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is also a fabulous spot if you love fireworks 🎆

When I originally started going to Luiyang around 7 years ago, the Yintian was really cheap. Unfortunately there's very little choice of places to stay in Luiyang and even fewer hotels that offer western food! Now the Yintian knows this and certainly have taken advantage of poor westerners like me and jacked up prices. By western standards it is definitely...

Well, it's ranked the best, yet I'm scared to see what the rest look like if this is the best of LiuYang. It's a respectable hotel, if your tastes are that of a low end Quality Inn. Remember to skip breakfast Buffett. It was loaded with loud hacking, and smoking patrons. The food was no better and I just skipped...

Contrary to some of the reviews here, I found the hotel to be clean, modern and well run. Occasional oddities for western visitors but nothing insurmountable. Breakfast is more Chinese than European, but then the client base is also more Chinese as well - we found the food descriptions amusing - breakfast intestinal and baked potato were sausages and happy...

I have been coming here for 9 years. While other public places in China have limited the smoking, this hotel now smells like a dirty ashtray and getting worse by the day. If they quit smoking 100% today, I doubt the smell would ever leave. The staff is friendly but very little English. No free bottle of water and all...

I have been visiting Liuyang since 1999. It was a great improvement when this hotel opened in 2006. There are two other hotels I have stayed at in town, one worse one similar. The staff has always been cordial and very helpful, although there is very little English. The included breakfast usually includes a few in season fruits or canned...
