Up until yesterday (06/12/2018), We didn’t even know this morning place existed.

Located just 51 clicks from Adelaide, The Novatel Barossa Valley Resort is a great place for a quiet & comfortable weekend getaway, be it a romantic couples retreat, a basecamp to explore and sampl

The views are gorgeous over the Barossa Valley and Jacob's Creek vineyards. Enjoyed a cup of tea early in the morning on the balcony bird watching (Galahs, Magpies, Piping Shrikes, Rainbow Lorikeets, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos) and a kangaroo hopping past! Beautiful. Sadly not too

Enjoyed 2 nights here recently. Stand out was definitely the dinner dining. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was very good and cleanliness all perfect. A little puzzled at housekeeping moving empty bottles around rather than just disposing of them; as Ac

Comfortable, spacious, modern room. Great view
Very helpful restaurant staff.

Expensive, so you expect it to be immaculate. However I felt the outside of the hotel looked a bit run down. Particularly the pool area.
Restaurant food was overpriced for what it was.

I see that you can book a room that includes a buffet breakfast - but are there other options for breakfast?
I am not sure about any of the available options. We believed that the price we paid for the rooms ought to have been enough to include breakfast, but that was not the case. We travelled into Tanunda each morning and had a nice breakfast at the "Blackbird Coffee House".

I’m planning a trip to Barossa Valley and would like to stay in your hotel, we are a couple and a 7 month baby. Problem is when I book for 2 adults and a baby, it only offers me the 2 bedroom apartment, instead of Superior King Room. Is it possible to make a reservation for 2 adults and have the baby staying with us? Does Novotel provides cribs in the room too?
Our room would have been big enough to have travel crib in and agree with other response from tripadvisor member

I would like to book a room may I put at least half down for a deposit this week and pay the remainder next week? Thanks
This would be entirely up to the hotel, ring reservations or send email, most would offer full payment on check in, or full payment up front not half and half.

Hi What room facilities do we have ie tea and coffee making fridge/toasters etc?
Yes, there is tea/coffee facilities and a coffee maker (with pods) and steamer, also kettle, fridge and I think there was also a toaster. We had a spa suite, very quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed our stay.

Please revisit. the Louise Resort. Went Late December, from Perth. 2014. We have a holiday home adjacent to the Margaret River wine region, and enjoy the wonderful restaurants and vineyards such as Leeuwin Estate, Vasse Felixs and Aravina Estate, plus Voyager, to name just a tiny few. and are used to travelling overseas, only five star. We found The Louise superb. Food was excellent and we found the staff both very professional, yet friendly. I imagine you must have visited when The Louise had other owners. The current owners are hands on and staff whilst friendly, are most courteous and professional. I do not usually give such praise, but thought the few minutes it's taken me, may be well worth it, given our wonderful experience and understand the huge expense in running such an establishment. I am not associated with this establishment, don't even know the owners names, but would highly recommend a visit or revisit. I'm not even in hospitality. I imagine ownership, management, chef and staff have changed since your visit. We would rate it an undoubted 5 star weekend, purely because if the large, luxurious suites, , extraordinary breakfasts and amazing Appelation (need to book) restaurant. Go, try, enjoy.
