Camino real used to be the BEST chain of hotels in Mexico. When it changed owner the Hotels have basically gone down the drain in many senses. Olegario Vazquez Raña owns a huge chain of Hospitals (Grupo Angeles). Hospitals are dual businesses in one hand the Medical side and in the other the "room" side which resembles hotel business at...

We visited Monterrey on a business trip, and decided to try the Camino Real hotel, as we had stayed in their Mexico City hotel. The architecture is impressive, the rooms are very comfortable, larger than the average hotel room, very quiet, the closets and furniture are made with exotic woods that leave a nice aroma on your clothes. In addition,...

I spent 6 days in this hotel and it is very good. Very clean and the architecture of the building is amazing to say the least. Service is very good. The location is perfect, next door to the Main Entrance restaurant area (look for my reviews on some of the restaurants around Camino Real). The pool was very nice designed....

We stayed here for a wedding, the hotel is in a very exclusive area of the city of san pedro. Security is average not as much as the Safi accross the street, the rooms were clean but on the small size, windows with good views to the mountains and service very good, staff friendly and always helping you out. Reccomended.

Good location. Just an okay hotel that lacks character. I wanted to rent a business room but it has a CCTV so you have no privacy! Bizarre! Breakfast okay but not at a five stars hotel level. Staff are nice and helpful. Big quiet rooms with some good facilities. I've requested some pain killers but the concierge doesn't always work!...

I stayed at Camino Real for 5 nights in July for business travel. Overall, I was very comfortable here. In contrast to other hotel stays, my floor was quiet and I was never aware of other people's noise around me even though there was a large conference going on during most of the week. The room was spacious, the bathroom...

I try to stay at this location any time I am in the Monterrey area. It is close to many restaurants for dining and also very close for shopping. The rooms are clean and the staff is always friendly. They offer an in house restaurant and bar, along with room service if you decide to stay within the hotel.

I liked the hotel. just spent two days there for work, and everything was handled very well. Its not 5 star luxury, but its definitely 4 star. rooms are well laid out with lots of outlets, comfortable bed and linen, and decent lighting. Bathroom has large and had funky red glass door. Would be my first choice for family option...

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I came here after being recommended to this hotel by a friend who spoke of Camino Real as a high-ranking place with category and nice staff members.
