This past year for the Christmas holidays 6 of us went to Rangiroa and the Kia Ora hotel for a diving holiday. Granted its a long flight to Tahiti and we had to wait to get the 1 hour flight over to Rangiroa, but once you are there, the rest of the world melts away. We chose

I have been to Tahiti 6 times and this was my first visit to Rangiroa! It was a beautiful small island near Bora Bora. The hotel is a quiet boutique style and I had a really nice private pool garden bungalow. The Polynesian show here is so authentic and not to be missed. If

Ia Orana Gayle Z, Thank you for being so loyal to visit Tahiti & its islands! It was a pleasure to make you discover Rangiroa. Rangiroa is the second largest atoll in the world. The resort itself is located on the same motu (small island around the atoll) as the airport, offering convenience & some variety of visits in Avatoru village, this motu is about 12km long. Our Polynesian teams dancing for the show are passionated by dancing and glad you enjoyed their performance. The show is genuine and welcoming from kids to ederly dancers, each with their elegant gestures. Blue lagon is a kind of shark nursery as there a lot to be seen in this area, it's a popular day tour around the island. Reef island is also an amazing day tour offering a totally different scenery, not to be missed in Rangiroa. We do appreciate your beautiful review and we are sure to see you back part of one of your future trip to our beautiful islands! Maururu roa, Amélie Rooms division manager

We visited the Kia Ora for two weeks in November. Everything went as planned, the flights and pick up etc. went very well. We were there mainly for the scuba diving and did 20 and 24 dives each. Amazing diving in the pass!! We dove with Yaka Plongee and they were amazing.

Hello, It includes american breakfast and a three course dinner. On Wednesday and Sunday nights there is a BBQ so that is included for those nights. When ordering à la carte from our dinner menu, there are not restrictions on our present menu. That is, you can choose any entrée, any main course and any dessert. Warm Island Regards...

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. Both clubs are good. The hotel works with the Top Dive club which has a base at the hotel. They are the only ones who have access to our dock for diving departures. All other dive clubs pick up the guests are the lobby by car and take them to their dive clubs. As for the diving questions, please email Top Dive directly or email the hotel and we will forward the email to them. Thank you again.

Hello, The regular Blue Lagoon trip is great. It is from 9am to 4 pm. It includes lunch. Everybody loves this excursion. The cost is 10 900 cfp (about $110 US) per person including lunch. You could hire a private boat to take you there for a half day (4 hours) but since it takes an hour to get there and an hour to come back to the hotel, it doesn't give you much time to enjoy the Blue Lagoon. The cost would be 45 000 cfp (about $450 US) for 4 hours without lunch.

"over water bungalows for sure"
"I liked the garden bungalow with a private pool. They do have overwater bungalows here but I would save that for Bora Bora or Moorea!"
"Consider the direction of the sun before choosing - if you need AC, this will make a difference!"
"Get a quiet room on the shoreline or over the water. Not one without a view where rooster lurk and crow night and day."
"Get the sunset-view overwater villas!"
