Its tucked away in the desert. We had gone for a conference but the sprawling property was lovely. The stained glass doors and windows and the attention to detail was great. It was freezing in January though. The staff are very welcoming and nice - just a trifle obsequious though . Their singers and local dancers are really nice and... More

It is a stunning hotel. Excellent services and beautiful room number 103. We went to look for tiger and saw the mother dragging a newly killed Sambor deer to her 3 cubs. A small G&T, wash up and dinner.

We've stayed there for 2 nights in Nov 2014. Liked a large airy room, but bathroom was not very good - saw 3-4 geckos on the walls which was rather amusing, however. Plumbing pipes might have been leaking - my bags which was spread on a spare bed got wet. Being a birder, loved a morning walk around the yard.

The hotel is quite stunning and unique. Staff greeted us with a warm welcome. They upgraded us to a suite on the top floor which was very big. Huge comfortable bed and beautiful crafted furniture. Our kids had the room next door. We had a wing all to ourselves which was great. The doors to the rooms are different to... More

This was part of our Travelsphere tour of India we stayed for 2 nights the evening buffet was good as was our room which had a Moroccan feel about it with stained glass windows. We enjoyed first class service being entertained in the evening round a warming log fire by traditional dancers. We were so lucky on our 2nd safari... More

Went there for a school field trip from Abu Dhabi. It was in the middle of the jungle. But we were greeted with nice typical rajasthani people. When we arrived they provided us with rosewater - some special service which you usually don't get to see in India. Rooms were kind of luxurious and spacious enough for 3-4 people. Nevertheless,... The Nahar Havelli felt almost like the staff guest house for the main hotel (ex palace) called Nahargarh in the same grounds which is very luxurious with great rooms, facilities and food. The Havelli is most definitely 2nd class. The food at dinner the first night was so cold as to be inedible. They did manage to get it warm... More

We stayed here for 1 night while passing through Ranthambore to do a safari in the park. Its a lovely hotel with great staff, services and rooms. The place is fairly new but looks like an lovely old maharaja's palace. Its a wonderful place to stay.
