Arrived by cycle with a group of friends. Warm welcome from the well organised staff. Government establishment but unlike many everything works in the room, beds most comfortable we had had for many nights and good electric room heater supplied to ward off the November night. Being a bit out of town it is quieter and didn't get any of... More

Good location, food and infrastructure. Its a government facility in spite of that staff and manager were very well mannered. You can try cedar beer available there in the bar. There is a ample space to play for kids.

Narkanda is approx 65kms away from the hustle bustle of Shimla. At a height of 2700mtrs its a quiet but charming hamlet in the lap of Himalayas bang on NH 22 which makes it easily accesible. Once you reach Shimla, take the Kufri - Fagu route to reach Narkanda. Narkanda really doesn't offer an extensive choice of hotel accommodation alike... More

The Hotel Hatu is a few Km ahead from the main town on a road that slips to the left. In the first looks i was a bit skeptic about the place as there was construction in progress as well as renovation. We were greeted by a group of families ( The local orchardists) enjoy a royal feast in the... More

This is a great place to stay in Narkanda. The location is amazing, the staff of the hotel is really good and very helpful and nice. The tranquility of the place is so relaxing. It takes you away from the noise of a big city. The treks to Hatu temple located at 3400 m is one of the best beginner... More

Stayed for a night on our way to Sarahan. Some renovation/construction work is going on and hence the entire place was very dusty. The rooms were not very clean when we arrived, in fact had to get the staff to sweep the room while we were settling down. The linen and towels were dirty and we had them changed. The... More

We had stayed at this quaint HPTDC hotel for our onwards journey to Lahaul Spiti. IMHO the place has huge spacious rooms with basic facilities of geyser etc. If all the expectations are set right then this place is a delight. Not to forget the location which is best in Narkanda. The meal and breakfast options are decent too. The... More
