Stayed for 3nights in the spacious lovely room at the top. Views over to the Severn. Comfy King-size, four-poster bed with a gorgeous embroidered and beaded bedspread. Leather settee if you don't want to watch tv while lazing in bed in the cosy towelling robes! On-suite shower room. There is a sani- flow plumbing system but as I have found...

The food was amazing, it was a lovely atmosphere and the guy that served us was lovely and his service definitely topped off our lovely evening. If you are in this area this is a...

We visited here in 2009 the food was very good, we have returned in 2016 and I would not recommend anybody to dine here. We feel the establishment has taken the wrong turn with producing not so good quality food at the prices they charge. This is my personal judgement. !!

Firstly, thank you for taking time to submit your review, and secondly apologies that we disappointed you, you are quite right in that we have changed our style of food to more “Comfort Food” In 7 years since you’re last visit the market has changed and people’s taste in food has also changed, we aren’t perfect and very occasional we...

Visited The Ship Inn one Sunday with our son whilst on holiday in Newnham. We were made very welcome from the get go and the setting was very nice. Bearing in mind our son is six months old and the pub is in a small town, there was a high chair and even when he got a little fussy, the...

We dropped in for lunch en route home and had a fabulous meal. Sausages and bubble and squeak - memorably delicious. Lovely atmosphere, calm and welcoming, plus newspapers. Nothing too much trouble. Will go again.

Decided to meet here for a family get together is it's both half way for us all. First time here, but sure to be back again. Easy to find and car parking shouldn't be a problem. We all went for the gourmet burgers they do. Personally I don't normally go for burgers but I'm glad I did. Food was excellent,...
