Booked this at fairly short notice and was informed by one of the hotel booking sites (Bookings.com?) that this was the last room available. Well, actually saw one more couple but that shouldn't detract from the stay. Must say that was a little disappointed that the waterfall featured in many of the pictures of the front of the hotel wasn't...

Glad you enjoyed the B&B and garden. As you know theTibet Suite is colourfully decorated with pictures from my visit to Tibet, but I must confess last summer the ceiling was starting to crack a bit, having been put up in 1823! This was repaired and redecorated as soon as we got to our quieter time this winter. 2015 was...

Great relaxing break. The garden room was very luxurious, comfortable and clean. The waterfall outside gives it an extra charm. The bathroom was really great. Alan was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. We had a great 3 night break. The only negatives were:- The bottle of shampoo fell and smashed in the shower but was not replaced until...

Cascade Gardens near Matlock could not be faulted. The room, our host, our location, and the breakfasts - all superb. The B&B also has wonderful gardens you can walk around during your stay. Close to some good pubs right in the heart of the Peak District- couldn't recommend it more highly, certain the best place we have stayed this holiday.

Just back from a short stay at the Cascades. This B&B is situated on a lovely country road, between Cromford and the village of Bonsall. It is a lovely old house with a fabulous garden, backed by cliffs on one side and the mill-canal on the other. Sun shining, daffs in bloom, and the constant sound of running water -...

Just stayed for a birthday treat for my man. What a lovely place. Warm, welcoming, cosy and quiet. Wonderful cosy bed. Friendly host. If there was anything to mark this establishment down on it would be that the hot water ran cold quite quickly so we couldn't top up the spa bath but other than that, we had a fabulous...

Stayed at cascades gardens for 3 nights. We stayed in the garden suit, and WOW what a room. Just perfect for a nice romantic weekend away. The owners were very welcoming and if we needed anything they were happy to help. I mentioned it was my partners birthday while we was there and they put balloons up around the room...

Just returned from a great weekend in Derbyshire, staying at Cascades Gardens, and what a lovely stay it was too. The hotel and it owners were very welcoming, the gardens exquisite and the breakfasts delicious. We stayed in the Tibet Suite which was extremely comfortable, a lovely bathroom and plenty of tea and coffee to warm us after chilly walks...

Chose this Bed and Breakfast after consulting Trip Advisor and taking into account the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The accommodation is quirky and full of interesting artefacts from around the world. We stayed in the India suite and found the bed to be very comfortable and the bathroom an excellent size. The gardens are delightful to wander around...
