I have to say this was one of the best B&B I have stopped at. Julie was very welcoming. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The whole of the place was warm and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with nothing being too much for Julie. Highly recommended

We stayed here 3 nights and felt completely at home. Nice en suite room, very comfortable bed, everything we needed, and delicious breakfasts. Julie was wonderful, always helpful, and especially so when we accidentally left our cell phone in a restaurant and she called to sort it out for us so we could later retrieve it. We will definitely stay...

Julie our hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely, warm and cosy as was the sitting room with great log burner. We spent the later part of our second evening after fish and chips in Matlock Bath in there. Fabulous breakfasts both mornings of our two night stay.

Pig of Lead was great, the owner was very helpful with information about the area and very friendly. We had an amazing breakfast every single morning that I still dream of now (full English, kippers or smoked salmon with scrambled egg; with amazing coffee or tea, plus the regular cereal, milk, orange juice and fruit), and our room had all...

The Pig of Lead, in the eighteenth century was a miners inn set in an area of industrial growth in the mining of lead and in woollen mills. It is close to the villages of Bonsall, Cromford ,and Matlock Bath and within easy reach of many beautiful Villages,Dales River walks and Moors. The B&B is clean, there is a cosy...

Thank you for your review. As regards your room tip for room 2 , the only difference between this room and the others is the bed size and the price. You, the guest choose the room you want to book and the bed sizes are stated. Room 2 has a double bed. Maybe a 6" bed or a twin bed...

3 night stay 26th - 28th Aug There's not much to add as people have already said it, but what i can say is that you won't be disappointed. Room was well equipped, comfortable, including a large TV. Don't you just hate 20" TVs? WiFi was also available in the room and plenty of parking space. Good choice of food...

We used this B&B as a base while splitting our time between attending Y Not Festival and exploring some of what the Peak District has to offer. Julie the hostess is very warm, welcoming and informative and we briefly met her husband who is also very friendly. The house itself is quaint and comfortable with a mixture of quirky nick...

The Pig of Lead is a historic house in an area of great interest and beauty. There is off-road parking, good wifi and a very comfortable bed. The house is by a fairly busy road, and you will likely need to drive to most places. The house has a large library, with plenty of board games and DVDs also. Our...
