Sting. Prince. Beyoncé. Madonna.

In the world of entertainment, there are dozens of mononymous artists and performers, people so influential and iconic in their craft they don't even need a last name. When someone says "Bono", you know who that is.

In the world of Caribbean culture, we would like to introduce Osyth (pronounced Oh-seeth). Osyth is an Aruba-native artist who has used her unique aesthetic and design skills to create a delightful tropical experience at Aruba Ocean Villas.

Launched in January 2017, what started as a restaurant has transformed into a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. Aruba Ocean Villas possesses breath-taking vistas, colourful art, and a romantic setting - all springing from Osyth's imagination.

When looking for a romantic getaway in Aruba, ours is the villa of choice. Aruba Ocean Villas offers guests an enchanting experience where they can switch off and enjoy doing absolute relaxation.

Life is short, and everyone needs these kinds of memorable moments.

Aruba Ocean Villas is often celebrated for its serene ambiance and tastefully decorated spaces that foster relaxation, with many guests appreciating the unique and comfortable furnishings. While the hotel's amenities, such as on-site dining and security, receive positive mentions, some visitors have raised concerns about room cleanliness and maintenance. The majority of guests commend the attentive and responsive service, though there are occasional reports of inconsistencies. Travelers are divided on the rooms, with the views and amenities receiving praise, but the value for cost has been questioned by several who felt that the high prices did not align with their experience.

The villas are a private tropical gem, with a slow and chill vibe. Each room is very private, clean and calm. The entire staff was extremely kind and attentive - don't be shy to ask for what you need. If you're expecting the big resort, butler type service then this is not that place. This is a relaxed place where people (staff and guests) will leave you alone if you want, or hang out and chat if you want. The concierge was out sick but still took the time to help us book some things over the phone. Their restaurant is great and lunches/dinners are prepared based on reservations only.

I recommend renting a car if you plan to leave the villas now and again since each taxi to downtown will cost $30-40 each way from Savaneta area, can take some time to arrive when called, and the southern/western part of the island is nice to explore. Extremely enjoyable stay and we hope to come back very soon.

Me and my husband stayed at Aruba Ocean Villa for two nights during our honeymoon trip. This place is so romantic and pretty! It's a paradise!! The gardens, sand, lighting, etc.. There are dogs, cats and peacock live in the villa. We stays at Orquidea (On the Beach Bungalow), we are unable to get the on the water bungalow. :( I love every details of the room! It smells like rose as soon as I entered the room, they already filled up the indoor bathtub with rose in it and provided a free small bottle of wine. So sweet! Unlike the other reviews complaint about the mosquito issue, we are fine after apply one layer of mosquito spray. We love the outdoor Jacuzzi in our room!! The crew are awesome! Maria, Wendell and other guy ( I forgot his name) provided excellent service and made us feel like home. If you like parties, this would not be a place for you. I enjoy the quietness and privacy here. This is the best hotel I've been to!! We spend whole day in the villa, we do sunbathing, swimming, paddle boat, and snorkeling (free). They have piano and guitar there you can play. I loved the outdoor bathroom, you can feel the wind and smell the ocean while you taking shower! We also have dinner on the pier (old mane and the sea), you need to make reservation in advance. We enjoy the sunset, the breezy wind, sound of waves and the food! I see couples dinning on the beach to celebrate anniversary and birthday, the waiters will play guitar and sing for you! This is the best place in Aruba!!! I wish we can stay longer. I can't wait to come back!!

First things first, pictures don't do the resort justice. Views alone, are worth the price of admission... but the real highlight is the staff. Wendel is a consummate host. Not only does the man care for your every need and ensures your stay is properly attended to but he also plays music, serenades the guests, as well as, keeps the drinks flowing. Marialisa, from the time you walk through their doors, keeps your every wish top of mind. She went as far as testing the bathtub temperatures herself to ensure everything was just right. Jeddah had such a lovely spirit and Zaidy had a smile that always kept you in a good mood. Enough can not be said about the people there who keep you constantly in a state of relaxation. Settling in to your room is an experience unto itself. Great care has gone in to the decor and the island feel you're enveloped in as soon as you walk in to your bungalow. No two bungalows are the same and so you feel a unique sense of personalization during your visit. As if everything there was meant just for you. It's a quiet, intimate, and romantic escape but they provide just enough entertainment and activities to keep you exploring. Their glass island was a exciting and surprising add to our whole experience. It's important to keep in mind that aruba, as a whole, is a small island. So things like consistent water temperature are a constant challenge. During our stay, renovations were being made and so construction was underway. At times, it was a distraction but knowing this in advance, their whole team stepped up to accommodate. We really appreciated all the hard work that went in to keeping us comfortable and happy during our stay. Saying, we can't wait to visit again, would be a gross understatement. For anyone considering paying the, admittedly, hefty price tag... It's definitely worth it!

What we loved most about these Villa's was the location. We chose it because it was set away from the tourist area of the island. What people need to realize before booking, the Villa's are what I would call "rustic charm". The Villa's are not completely enclosed, so while they have a wall air condition unit, the heat and humidity come in through the gaps between the roof line and the walls. There are lots of cracks and crevices for mosquitoes and spiders to get in. And since the island is always very, very windy, you can hear the wind howling all night long as its coming in through the ceiling roof line. If your a light sleeper, its a problem. You need to be comfortable with this beforehand. In addition, Aruba has an over populated stray dog problem on the island. Lots of strays everywhere. Because of that, there are barking dogs all night long.

The grounds of the Villa's themselves are astonishing and relaxing and the food is wonderful. What was disappointing was how little information we got when we arrived about the services and amenities that were offered on the premises. We felt the entire time that we were on our own. We were never told if we could have the room cleaned, how often, if the resort driver was available for use, if we could have breakfast delivered to the room, any information about what the island had to offer, if massages were offered on the premises, etc... Most of what we found out we did on our own or had to ask, and by then, it was the end of the trip and too late to take advantage of it. The staff were very friendly, but I wouldn't say terribly helpful or forthcoming with information.

As for the Villa itself, we found it to be worn out, stained furniture and tired looking. The floor is plywood and there are filthy dirty cuts of carpeting just laying on top. Our bathroom did not have soap or tissue when we arrived and had to ask 3 times before we got the soap. We just went to the store and bought the tissue ourselves.

The best part for us about our vacation was exploring of the island, how easy it was to get around and get off the beaten path and how friendly the locals are to visitors. I would rate the Ocean Villas as average overall.

It's hard to explain how amazing this place is. We stayed there for 7 days in the Sophia cabana. We actually met the owners while there and said the villas are named after their grandchildren. The staff, the grounds, the views & over experience was everything we could have asked for. The weather is perfect, little to no bugs, can snorkel right out of your villa (equipment in your room). In our villa there are two beds. One that is outside with amazing an amazing breeze and can watch the sun set while taking an afternoon nap. The other is in your room which is a canopy bed. It has a white sheet around it (like a screen) you close at night (for the very little bugs they have) and they have a unique system that pumps A/C into just the bed area. Super awesome! For bathrooms there are no doors but was located in the villa where you have privacy. The shower is also in the open but has shades you can drape for privacy. There is no "all you can eat" options. Breakfast is included. Eggs, fruit, toast, meats, juices, oatmeal and more. The property is spotless. They are adding several more villas so at times you may hear some construction but it is not overwhelming at all. The construction is being added to the left of you and there is another villa between you and construction so we found it not to be an issue whatsoever. There are no TV's & WIFI was pretty good. We brought a speaker and played our own music. Pandora doesn't work outside of the US but Sirius XM does so if you have it download the app before leaving. There is a small fridge and a cooler they fill with ice daily (have to ask). You will need to download the WHATSUP app and can communicate with Joy. She s amazing and honestly will feel like she is only working for you (24/7). What else can we say... it was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

We finally made it to Aruba Ocean Villas! We unfortunately had to reschedule our vacation from the previous summer due to covid. I worked with Joy the entire time and she is exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable! She has great local recommendations and even helped me schedule couples massages for our friends who visited the property a couple months before us.

"Beautiful" does not do it justice. You can tell that care, craftsmanship, and a fabulous creative artistic eye went into every square inch. The staff was welcoming, warm, and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS!!! If you can schedule your trip around their Sunday BBQ I would highly recommend it! A final helpful tip I would like to give...The week before we went, Aruba had a few sun showers so we had a couple more mosquitos than I was told by many people were common. We asked the front desk and housekeeping about it and they put a very nice smelling sort of incense (not sure exactly what it was) in our room and the outdoor bathroom (with the most fabulous shower) and it did the trick wonderfully! We can not wait to go back!

Pros: Beautiful property. Lush, green and secluded. Won’t find a more amazing property.
Staff is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Villa was clean and bed was comfortable. Beach is small but never crowded and bar is close by with great bartenders. Food was a little expensive and limited but very good. 2 great restaurants close by. Great atmosphere during the stay
Cons: Couldn’t enjoy outside area of my villa (including the outdoor bathroom!) because of swarms of mosquitoes. I was bitten multiple times and the spray they provided doesn’t have DEET so it did little. You have to request cleaning and/or towels each time instead of them coming on a schedule. Very far from amenities, shopping and services like tours. Many tours will not pick up at the property so you might want to rent a car during the stay.

Best for those that enjoy romantic and secluded. If you want low key and relaxed then this is the property. If you want more shopping and night life then it will be a little far each time to travel. Overall we had a great experience

This place is what i called my own slice of heaven! I didn't give it a 5 star for a couple of reasons. first the water although clear near beach is the kind that has the grass lake type at bottom that i do not like, I imagined crystal clear beach but this is of course not their fault and is my own preference. 2nd room service was not top notch for example we had fridge but no ice trays. water was supplied but in a glass pitcher which is good but it was too big for fridge and therefore warmed quickly and no ice! other than that my stay was fantabulous!
The cooks prepared very tasty meals served right on the beach on a very romantic quaint type setting. My room was awesome and although i worried about bugs i didn't have a problem with little critters at all! Mosquitos were not intense as some of the other reviews have mentioned. I stayed in the Orquedia room and it was beautiful with my own outdoor jacuzzi. It was the perfect place for our 25th anniversary. although this is a quaint and romantic location I do not think its just for couples. It's not however for party goers, the most you will get is maybe some background music from the bar. I will say though that if you do request some type of entertainment Wendall is excellent with playing the guitar and singing!
The Staff was wonderful!

We booked a 4 night stay with Aruba Ocean Villas through their website for a specified price. Two days before our arrival date, Jon from accounting contacted us to tell us that their computer system had charged us for 2 nights instead of 4. He did not explain anything else in his email to us. This was just two days before our arrival date, we were understandably flustered with the ambiguity (increased cost? Canceled reservation? - who knew as he didn’t specify any of it in his email).
We responded with a concerned email asking for clarification on the issue. Jon’s response was to cancel our reservation TWO days before our trip with an email that included his rude and unwanted opinions. We were worried we would have to find an expensive last minute booking with another hotel and that is exactly what we ended up having to do.
I absolutely would not recommend booking a stay with Aruba Ocean Villas. There are better and more professional hotels on the island. It has been 4 weeks since he said he would refund us, and I still have not gotten my money back. These people are criminals!!

My fiancé and I began making plans for a trip to Aruba early spring with another couple for fun since we were stir crazy after a year of not going anywhere, and we were vaccinated against covid finally. We began making preparations months ahead, looking for and booking activities to do while on the island like UTV riding and seeing the island by jeep. When asked what my fiancé wanted to do while there by our friends, he replied, "I was thinking maybe we would get married?"!

So we had no idea about how to go about that of course, but our friends gestured to book us at the Ocean Villas for our wedding night as a gift during our stay. We contacted Joy from the Villas and asked about room availability, and if we could um, get married there? She said yes, and helped us plan it all. We initially called just to make sure a room was open, and we found a friend who acted as our wedding planner, who casually helped us put together the finishing touches of our big day without any worries! We were able to stay in contact by phone and text to iron out the details of our stay and how we wanted our wedding day to be.

Our stay at the Villas was a dream, the atmosphere was quiet and the staff were all wonderful. Huge shout out to Maria and Zaldy, as well as Wendal who entertained us and made us feel at home away from home. My new husband and I felt so blessed. We ate breakfast on the cabana over the water the day after our wedding and then danced our first dance as Wendal played guitar and sang for us. Later, that morning, my new husband and Wendal played and sang Beatles songs in the shade! We stayed in the Chupi Villa which was perfect too. It had guitars and a piano downstairs, which suited us music lovers just fine. I didn't know that places like this really existed, and I am so glad that we were able to have this experience. Our stay was relatively short, but I will never forget the beautiful moments that we shared. The place is so much more than the pictures. Bananaquit birds sang to us in the morning as we ate and the accommodations themselves were breathtaking.

Our flowers and cake that Joy ordered for us were tropical and just what I was looking for, the wedding cake was delicious, and the people made the experience feel unrushed and sincere.
Joy helped us to find our officiant Andrew Osborne and his wife Michele to help us with the ceremony and an amazing photographer named Stiven Sanchez to capture each moment.

Since returning to humble Erie, Pennsylvania, countless friends and family have remarked on what a beautiful wedding ceremony it was. Pictures only tell half of the story.
