We rented the love shack and a lodge for our group of 12. Bushaven shuttled us to the Pakihi track in good quality comfortable vans. The accomodation is backpacker style in very clean comfortable rooms. Second stay, cant wait to make it a third.

Stayed two nights at the Love Shack at Bushaven, which located in the midst of gorgeous NZ native forest. It was easy to get to and the road is a scenic drive in itself. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the hot shower just what I needed after a day tramping past Te Waiti Hut and back. John and...

Thanks, I love driving and best of all I get to take riders to do something they love, so I guess I get to see them at their best.

Wow! Our recent off-road adventure along the gorgeous Pakihi Track was made even more memorable thanks to the hospitality and knowledge of John, Virginia and Mel. Looking for a unique escape? Look no further than Bushaven. Sit back and relax (or ride your bike) and let Motu Trails Hire and Shuttle take care of all your transfers. Highly recommended for...

We stayed at Bushaven in the large house and some of the outlying huts with a group of 20+ friends and family and had a wonderful time. The setting in the middle of native bush was idyllic and only enhanced by the last few kms drive over gravel roads to get there - a feeling of going back in time....

Great location, fabulous service. Good base before and after tramping and mountain biking. Don't be put off by the road - the destination is worth it! A great place to go to escape it all. John's shuttle service for the Motu trail and tramps is comfortable and efficient.
