What ever you do do not sleep in this hotel, all your things will smell horrible after one night sleep. It stinks and mold everywhere. We putted on some inncence but it did not even help. Shower hot water did not work. I have stayed in some very very low budget places, but they all looked better then this hotel....

An average boxy room, not the best beds, no internet except in the lobby, hot water only at certain times, but clean enough. Breakfast ok, possibly the best in Tibet, but that's not saying much - fried egg, bread, sliver of spam, jam, coffee, etc. No heating, but probably not needed.

We were initially meant to be staying in a different hotel in Zhangmu but our tour operator thought we may prefer this one - they were wrong. The building is in need of serious attention and I can quite confidently say that the levels of mold in the rooms must be detrimental to your health. All of the windows to...

Zhangmu is a major trade point between Nepal and China. It is estimated that a few million dollars worth trade takes place in this border town. Its no surprise that, there are so many Hotels in this town constructed along a narrow main road. The Hotel is kept well with grand furniture, neat and clean rooms and good amenities. If...

The hotel looks impressive from the outside as one descends the hill, and the unwary traveller will breath a sigh of relief. Sadly the impressive façade is not backed up with content : hot water is available for only two slots a day (none, for example, at the time of our arrival at 14:30), the electrics in our room had...

We were booked in here for one night at the end of a Tibet tour before crossing over to nepal. On arrival we were immediately concerned as the entrance was filthy. We went up to see our rooms thinking maybe they would be better, they weren't. The stairs were grim, dirt everywhere, it was a fair old trek up to...

We were checked in to this hotel as part of our overland tour to Tibet. We need to stay here to get all the necessary permit to start the Tibet tour. Terrible stinky toilet smell started from the moment we entered the hotel. From receptionist till room area were really bad. Rooms are really bad as well. Toilets were stuck...

The room smelled. the walls have mold and peeling paint and aweful stains. The ceiling (used to be white) had black stains all over. The window has no ledge to lock it. Worse, our room was next to the drying area, so it's possible for people to just walk up to the window and open it for whatever reason. The...

Stayed 1 full day and night at this hotel, because our tour brought us here There was mold on the walls and the rooms smelt like an old basement. Even our clothes smelled awful the days after. We put on incence on to hide the smell. Dont stay in this hotel, or better dont stay in Zhangmu at all.

We checked into this hotel as part of an expensive tour. Everyone on the tour complained about the state of their rooms so we were finally moved to a much nicer hotel on the opposite side of the road. One guy on our tour was so disgusted with his room that he checked out himself. The floor of our room...
