Obviously this isn’t a luxurious five star hotel. It’s very minimalist. There’s no proper shop for snacks so if you don’t have a car you’re basically stuck here to eat their food or find a place that delivers (spoiler alert, there’s an Italian place nearby...More

Hi Troy, great question. Crocodiles live pretty much anywhere in the top end of Australia and this region is no exception. The local area is monitored very well by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection. Any animal that is sighted is relocated.
It is certainly never advisable to swim around or in the local estuaries, river mouths and especially at night. Otherwise the oceans are warm and inviting year round and Kewarra Beach has it's own stinger enclosure for the periods when required.
We look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you to our sunny shores.

There are no bars or restaurants nearby.
No problem with tour operators picking you up from the resort.
Small shops are about 20-30 min walk away. There is also large shopping centre about 45-50 min walk away.
