Nice old hotel with a very traditional feel. Fantastic location right in the centre of Jicin. Only negative was the breakfast...very poor by any standards. Apart from that recommendable for a short stay in Jicin. Apart from that a decent hotel.

The hotel is very nice and old stylish. Large rooms and has an old style. We tried the SPA but it was not so great because the light didn't work in all places and the pool was very cold. The sauna was okey but dark because of no light. The staff is nice.

We stayed her as a base for a couple of days hiking in the nearby and beautiful Cesky Raj. It is located in a small town with a few shops and restaurants, but being less urban there is also much less English spoken. The hotel did have a few employees with enough English to do basic transactions. Our room was...

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of July. Our room was clean and functional. The hotel is 1930's style but folks need to check out the history of the place before knocking it. The staff were fine and helpful when asked. We took advantage of the old style spa. The breakfast was OK and we ate in the...

If You would like to feel for a moment like in late 30s', book room in this hotel. Nice place, good service, and an "old style" spa with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi you can book only for you (so also very good for just married pairs;) A 1 star missing due to really medium standard restaurant with the worst...

We visited the hotel for only three nights (thankfully not longer). We booked a junior suite with double bed, but when we arrived we found out that the beds are considerably apart – and because they were historical single beds, they could not be put next to each other. We wanted to let some fresh air in and on half...

I stayed in the hotel for two nights during spring break holiday this year. I actually quite liked the wannabe art-nouveau style. I also had a chat with one of the owners and I have to admire his dedication to the hotel. The room was nice and spacious with bathroom with shower. The breakfast is included in the price and...

Stayed in Jicin as a bit of a shot in the dark on a trip round the Czech republic and was not sure what was in the town or surrounding area. Paid a little extra for a suite which was themed round a famous motorbike racer and very art deco which my wife loved, the room was spacious clean and...

The hotel is very nice nice with a good service. Beds are comfortable and everything is fresh and clean. Small minus is the lack of air-conditioning so it can get quite warm at nights in summer, however there are probably no any air-conditioned hotels in Jicin. The restaurant is rather average and the breakfast is OK.

We booked a junior suit and stayed for 7 nights., Bedroom, living room and en suite. This was very spacious with nice furnishings, decor in good condition and completely unlike a corporate chain experience. Breakfast selection was good and we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening. We both chose traditional Czech meals, which tend towards the substantial goulash...
