I had the pleasure of staying in the stunning Aurora lodge at Kielder Waterside over Easter with five friends and what an amazing break it was! This lodge is in an enviable position right on the reservoir with beautiful views over the water with a lush green background. Waking up to this view made you want to get up early...

We have just returned from a weekend stay in a Hareshaw superior lodge. The lodge was well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The lodge had great views and was very peaceful. We are a family with young children (8 and 5) and we found lots to do and explore. We tried archery with the Go active club and thoroughly...

We stayed in the Hadrian lodge which has a partial view of the lake, it was November when we stayed, so it was very quiet, which was perfect. Yes it does get cold at night but there are blankets and heating provided, you can sit on the veranda at night and have an amazing view of the night sky as...

As a group we stayed here over the New year. We hired 2 lodges, 1 of which had a hot tub. We were given a complimentary hamper in each lodge. The lodges were beautiful, clean and very modern. Cannot fault this site, the views were perfect and the walks around the forest were just amazing. Me and my friends can...

Just returned from a mid week break at Kielder Lodges. We found the site very nice, well maintained and expertly and professionally run. We had 'Hadrian' lodge (14) which had 2 bedrooms, and although was described as basic was very well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and a DVD player. The views outside was spectacular. The lodges are very...

my husband and I wanted a quiet break with lots of dog walks and this place lived up to our expectations. This is a lovely part of the world and the lodge was very warm and comfortable. The lodges are very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. Will definitely go back again!

We had an excellent long weekend for the Kielder swim and triathlon. We chose the Hareshaw Superior lodge which had an amazing outlook over the lake and forest - especially when viewed from the hot tub. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and tidy when we arrived. The lodges themselves are quite old but obviously well maintained apart from a...
