Stayed here for a night as arranged by a tour company. Hotel is well decorated and staff is friendly and polite. Only complaint was that I was rather cold the one night I was there. Whether it was because it was an exceptionally cold night or what I don't know. Breakfast was yummy.

Mandawa Haveli was the cleanest accommodation with the friendliest and most helpful staff on our 4-week trip through Rajasthan. The hotel is beautifully and authentically rennovated. It was a delight staying there and a relief to stay in such a clean place. Mandawa is a very clean and quiet little town without the usual hassel. A real highlight at the...

I spent two nights here and hired a young man from the hotel for a private walking tour of the city sites. This is a forgotten trading town on the old silk road where camel trains once passed and stopped to rest. The Haveli is a house of a rich merchant, built on a specific pattern and decorated with the...

Great place that kept an authentic touch! Beautiful rooms and nice rooftop. Located in the bazaar street, perfect start for going around and taking pictures. The staff is helpful and very polite. Small mention on the food that could be improved, but definitely a place to stay !!

After a long day's motorbike ride, we arrived here and were delighted with the appearance of this hotel. Going inside just blew our minds, as it way exceeded our expectations in terms of its appearance and decorations. Obviously no lift in a place like this, and although it wasn't an issue for me, it's something to note if there are...

We went to Mandawa to see the havelis, and then we stayed in one also... why stay anywhere else when in Mandawa. This allowed us to experience what a haveli is like - in a large room on the ground floor, with in-room decoration and even a slightly uneven floor to add to the authenticity! We had dinner on the...

This is a heritage property with very affordable tariffs. The rooms are basic but tidy and well maintained. The whole property is ornately decorated. It is primarily occupied by foreigners or Indian film crews. Several celebs have stayed here. All in all, it is well worth it to spend some time here to get a taste of the famous Rajasthani...

An amazing place to stay. 200 years old and oozing with character. The owner himself, Rikesh, showed us around the town and took us to see other havelis. Disappointing, though, that afterwards he asked for a "fee" for doing so!

We stayed in one of the suites and it's the first time we've had a minstrels gallery in our room! Staff friendly and helpful e.g. in helping re mossie protection. The fixtures and fittings are all restored originals. Lovely roof-top dinner and then lovely breakfast room. Air-con great.
