Stayed 3 days and had a fantastic time. Diderik and his crew do an amazing job at making you feel welcome. In combination with good food and nice rooms, this a rare little gem I can recommend to everyone. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Yes, the rooms are a bit noisy but that's pretty much the only downside to the place. It's a lovely place to just unwind. You can visit the Addo National Park or the cheetah farm nearby. Diederik is a nice host. Someone here mentioned he only likes to hear himself talk but that's abolsutely not what we experienced. Ofcourse he... More

Brilliant and small place to stay for a coupe nights of you are exploring the area. This is both a business and a charity as the owner had a link to the location and offers a tour free of charge for a donation to the charity. On our stay we had a lovely introduction to the area, where to go... More

An experience at an establishment is always measured by the small stuff. No milk for coffee, no adapter for their hair dryer, bed rather old and held up on blocks of wood, sound travelled between rooms due to the type of ceiling (shadecloth), cups were not cleaned each day, kettle cord was too short so it had to stand on... What a tasteful little gem out there amidst the citrus orchards! Pretty, spacious rooms, lovely garden and pool, crazy dog (will throw its lemon into the trunk of your car to get your attention so you'll throw it for him). And very kind and helpful owner Diederik made us feel truly at home there. He prepared a lovely dinner (springbok)... More

We had heard a lot about the Lemon3 lodge and the owner Diederik and were really curious to finally get there ourselves. The guesthouse is conveniently located on the way to Addo Elephant National Park. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and has a modern feel to it. The owner Diederik was very nice and accommodating and has been extremely helpful.... More

A wonderful spot to escape the road. Diederik and his staff welcomed us in and provided great help to find things to do in and around Kirkwood. The township tour is a definite must. These folks are not only great hosts but they are also providing an immense service to the community
