We had heard a lot about the Lemon3 lodge and the owner Diederik and were really curious to finally get there ourselves. The guesthouse is conveniently located on the way to Addo Elephant National Park. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and has a modern feel to it. The owner Diederik was very nice and accommodating and has been extremely helpful....

Please don't stay here unless you enjoy: 1, competing with the lodge staff for the one television that has actual DSTV 2. the smell of sewerage 3. thin walls and having to explain to your 7yo children why the lady next door was 'sighing' so loudly 4. finding hair in your bed that's not your own 5. finding clumps of...

A wonderful spot to escape the road. Diederik and his staff welcomed us in and provided great help to find things to do in and around Kirkwood. The township tour is a definite must. These folks are not only great hosts but they are also providing an immense service to the community

One of the major things that makes a good lodge is the effort the owner(s) put(s) in. In Lemon3lodge's case that is well taken care of! Not only did we get a great breakfast (unfortunately we were just 2 so we couldn't sample dinner), but we also got invaluable inside info on the country and where to go to in...

Beautiful lodges with many different activities within range, for which additional information is provided. Good coffee during breakfast! Rooms are equipped with powerful air conditioning and are large, open and good maintained. A nice private trace is available to relax with a drink you can get from the lounge. What stands out is the host, Diederik, who enthusiastically gives you...

At Kirkwood we had a fantastic stay at Lemon3lodge! Diederik is a very friendly host. He explains what the touristic possibilities in the neighbourhood are. The food he serves is very delicious. The best we had in South Africa! The trip in the village was very interesting. Diederik has started a project for young children that do not go to...

We had a great stay at Lemon3Lodge. Diederik is a great host and had good recommendation what to do in Addo & Kirkwood. The Lodge is great, with a pool, and well equipped large lodge rooms in a modern stylish design, which works great in the room and to the lodge. Really recommendable!

The facility is located not to far from the city center of Kirkwood a little bit of the main road so don't get disturbed by the traffic noises at night. We didn't have the chance to use all the facility's provided due bad weather conditions. The host Diederik assisted us very well with advise for our drive through Baviaanskloof, provided...
