Our expectations regarding the hotel were pretty high after the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. However, we were surprised that the hotel even surpassed those high expectations. We were here for 2 nights at the end of July and it was the best hotel we stayed at in Turkey. We got upgraded to a Cave Suite room which was a charming,... More

This hotel was the best place we stayed. Its a beautiful hotel away from Urgup where you can kind of experience village life. Servilyce was excellent as the staff is very humble. I would recommend it highly to those traveling to Cappadoccia.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights whilst exploring Cappadocia. The hotel has been built into the hillside with cave type rooms which are the deluxe rooms. There are also other rooms more along the usual hotel style so if you want to stay in in the cave rooms pay the extra and enjoy the experience. The rooms have... More

We read the reviews and looked at the online photos but the reality of this hotel far surpassed all illusions and expectations. As the final 2 day stop on our trip we were completely overwhelmed by the joy and generosity of the hotel and it's staff. Unknown to us, our tour agent at Veni Vidi travel had arranged a 'surprise'... More

It was my first time in Kapadokia and people from Garamisu Hotel and Euphrates Tours helped in doing it a unique experience. The cave hotel is amazing and staff is really very helpful and nice and made me feel like home. I will certainly be back.

We had the pleasure to stay at the Gamirasu Cave Hotel as part of our travels to Cappadocia. The hotel is set in a somewhat "rustic" village which appears to be all in the renovating stage! But that being said the Hotel was a wonderful experience. With a big breakfast in the morning to keep you going for hours, we... More

Gamirasu is a charming, rustic hotel with excellent food, warm service and large, well appointed rooms. We had a great time there. The only negative was that its in a remote, unpicturesque village where there's nothing else to do. Even the walks are quite dull. The hotel does provide a free shuttle service to the nearest town, though, which can... More

If you want to enjoy a unique stay in a beautiful cave environment without sacrificing on ambience of this amazing region, this is your place to be! The employees at Gamirasu were wonderful! Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am happy to hear that you have enjoyed your stay at Gamirasu. I was sad to read you did not like the experience at Carpet manufacturing. I understand that as you had only a day, it was a sacrifice of time as it was not in your interest. Our guides are usually... More

We reserved on booking.com for EUR 190 and were upgraded to the Byzantine King Suite! This suite is enormous, featuring a large jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath area, balcony, and more. The staff are incredibly helpful and eager to please. Four of five of them accompanied us into the suite when we arrived because they wanted to "see our reaction" when... More

We were part of a small group tour of Turkey who have been coming to this hotel for many years. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights at this amazing hotel but the memory will live on. Gamirasu is the name of an exquisitely restored 35 rooms troglodyte cave house opened in 1998, in Ayvali Village near Urgup in the heart of Cappadocia, Turkey. The hotel is located in a restored thousand-year-old Byzantine monastic retreat which offers modern conveniences without distracting from the spiritual feeling of the area which has been known to be inhabited for more than five thousand years. Indeed, it is the perfect honeymoon destination, with many couples choosing the intimate cave suites for access to some of the most breathtaking and unforgettable scenery in the world. The sense of tranquility and authentic village atmosphere around the Gamirasu is instantly soothing, with nothing to disturb you but the sound of birds and sumptuous aromas drifting across the warm air from the old Monastic kitchen. Breakfast consists of all local and organically grown produce, including freshly baked bread, clotted cream, honeycomb and fresh fruit. A 7km hiking trail departs from the front door of the hotel and follows a remote valley with a beautiful brook flowing down the middle.
