If u want to have private onsen, I htink Konansou is a good onsen hotel + location. I like it but then again, I may choose another which can have better view. the dinner is good, but not very impressive as I had much better one in Hokkaido; however, overall the staff and everyone is so nice! I would recommend... More

The rooms were very spacious. There are no king sized beds here so couples who wish to sleep together should up for the futons on the floor. The bath and bathrooms were very clean. This is mostly an indoor onsen. There is only a small outdoor onsen available and the roof top foot bath. The onsens are split into men... More

If you are looking for a place to stay at lake kawaguchiko as well as experience the traditional japanese lifestyle, this place is highly recommended. However, other than the private onsen which you must book, you won't be able to view mt fuji from your room. The staff are always very friendly and courteous. Thanks for making my trip very... More

The location is good. It is on the town. In front of the hotel is Kawaguchiko lake. The room is big and Japanese style. There is foot spa on the rooftop. Onsen give us the good Experience. We love dinner here. It is Japan style. Hope to go back again.

One of the best kaiseki dinners that my hubby and I had on this trip. Creative, fresh food that surprises the palate. Great service by the hotel staff, with on demand bus service to kawaguchi station. Make sure you also get the 10 pc discount for the ropeway from the hotel before heading there - which is just a short... More

After much research and pouring over raving reviews I chose this as one of the two onsen hotels that my family would stay at. I was really looking forward to the stay but even upon arriving it was all downhills. We arrive around two-ish, which was a bit earlier than the check-in time of three pm. The reception staffs told... More

Booked 2 nights. Had room with private onsen in the balcony facing Mt Fuji. Nice experience. Chose a Japanese style room with tatami bedding. Problem is you can't come back in the afternoon for a quick nap as the bedding is all kept away in the cupboard and is only set up by the staff after dinner. In room kaiseki... More
