Check in strictly not before 3 pm check out 10 am. Between 10 am and 3 pm owners switch on an answering machine there is no way to phone the hotel during this time. In our case they started answering the phone at 3:20 pm. If you arrive early you need to store your luggage at the station.(luggage storage opposite...

My wife, two teenager kids and I stayed here for Three days in July 2016. We were picked up at the station in Kowaguchiko by the son of the owners, and they always offered to drive us to the station when needed. We all stayed together in one, big, traditional room. Very clean and Nice, and we were offered yukattas,...

We stayed here back in 2015 during our tour of Japan. We we're welcomed by a lovely couple. This was the first time we stayed in a Ryokan during out travels. The service was fantastic from beginning to end. The owners don't speak much english, but that just added to the experience. I remember them having a young guy, (possibly...

It looks like a house from the outside. The place and the room was clean. Room was clean, warm, and nice. They provide pick up service from the station, and drop off to station which was excellent. Its a short walk from the green line sightseeing bus stop. Best to have dinner at the place and have a full ryokan...

This ryokan is situated just by the lake kawaguchiko and the Fujiyoshida shrine. The hosts speak almost no English but they are extremely helpful and we always managed to communicate. They also provide shuttle service to and from the train station. The showers are openly shared but gender separated. The room that we were assigned was quite big. I would...

The room is really big with a great view. In a sunny day, we could see Fuji mountain very clearly. Breakfasts were very nice. There are a lot of hiking trails nearby. After hiking, soaking in the Onsen was really relaxing. The hotel owner recommended several small restaurants in the neighborhood. We could talk to local people there and experienced...

I loved this cosy B&B. The owners were lovely (even if they didn't speak much English, they were really kind and they helped us out with transportation etc, even when it was supposed not to be included). The Onsen was little but very very nice. The room perfect. Breakfast was huge. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed 2 nights in a traditional style accommodation; a mattress on the floor with shared bathroom. The service is beyond expectation from the owner's family (Father, Mother and a Son). They are very nice and always have smiles on their faces. Nothing seems to be trouble at all for them. The hotel is located around the lake Kawaguchiko area....
