Spent five nights in one of the best boutique hotels I have ever experienced.

To get to the Black River Gorge from Chamarel you would need to hire a car or a private taxi as it is quite a long way from this hotel. I would say its around 6/8 miles away.

They have rooms that are next door to the main amenities ( pool, restaurant etc) but I'd say that if your husband has a mobility problem, maybe lakaz might not be the right place. That said, if he doesn't mind being ferried around, I'm sure the staff would be happy to take him around in the buggy!
