Tony and Penny were very hospitable and showed me how it all worked. Room was massive and just had to step out of the door for a quick swim, little cold at 19c but was refreshing. Great job on restoring the Quinta. Regarding location it's not set in a stunning area but relatively easy to get everywhere. Short walk to...

Quinta do Scoto is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beautifully remodeled rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our children loved being able to chase two dogs, three chickens and two horses on the property. The location is perfect for visiting Sintra or Lisbon...it's in a nice, quiet area without having to be jammed in...

Quinta do Scoto is a beautifully restored guest house with comfortable, spacious and very clean accommodations. Tony and Penny have worked hard to share this unique home with others, and they truly wanted our experience with them to be perfect. From the complimentary wine, drinks and fruit that greeted us, to the helpful advice on sightseeing in this area, to...

Quinta do Scoto is beautifully restored. The breakfast area has blue tiled landscape decoration that was original. The future is 150 years old! It is a bargain for such a beautiful and historical place. We loved our stay in Quinta do Scoto!

Tony and Penny work hard to provide a high quality stay for their guests, and it shows. First class accommodation - enormous bedroom with ensuite bath and shower - and a French window opening on to the large swimming pool; generous breakfasts in the well restored old quinta; free local lifts whenever we needed them; and lots of advice on...

My wife and I have stayed at Quinta twice now, June 2015 and September 2016, both times just for 2 nights so as to be near both Sintra and Lisbon. We can thoroughly recommend this converted Casa (Portuguese manor house, I suppose you could call it) that was built 270 years ago in 1746. Tony and Penny, our hosts, have...

Love the hosts of this Quinta, suggesting places to see and restaurants for good meals. Breakfast was really good, fresh fruits, yogurt, fresh squeezed o.j. And more. Our bedroom was very big in front of the lovely pool, and the bed was very comfortable. We Highly recommend this place.

This is very special place to stay in the outer regions of Lisbon. Tony and Penny really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. A lovely breakfast, changing every day, offers a great start to the day and it's close vicinity to local rail stations is most convenient for local attractions. We tended to spend the morning around...

We, a family of 4 (with 2 daughters aged 13 and 8), greatly enjoyed staying a long weekend at Quinta do Scoto. Tony and Penny were wonderful and tremendously welcoming hosts, who wanted to make sure that we enjoy our stay to the max - they have put all their heart and soul into this gem of a B&B. The...
