We just spent 4 nights in this very modern, clean and complete hotel. The Spa was immaculately clean and well designed, you felt you had some privacy in the way that the different saunas were positioned as sometimes there are hotels that feel more communal and tight for space. Very airy and windows wrapped on the sides of the hotel to take in breathtaking views of this valley. The pool was great, indoor connecting to the outdoor. Enough lounge chairs facing the mountains and nature around it.
The fitness area was complete , also facing the mountain views. Hiking trails everywhere and the Swiss border in walking distance. The food and service was very good quality with good evening choices.
Try to get the room facing the mountains that have extra large balconies. You'd easily be content just enjoying the scenery .. We would recommend this hotel - no negative points from our perspective..

Tuberis is located at 500m from the Swiss border and is ready to welcome guest from all over the world. We got the largest room (66 m2) for our family of 4, so that the adults could enjoy some privacy whilst the kids had ample space for playing. The food is awesome, definetely high quality, the service prompt and courteous. The spa is top class and the indoor/outdoor pool simply fab. It takes 25-30 minutes driving to hit the skiing slopes, but it's worthwhile.

We stayed for 2 weeks with our son and really loved it. The food and the staff is amazing. They have a lot of options for kids (play room, kids pool, animals, play ground). Our room was very spacious with everything that is needed. The Wellness and Spa area is well through-out and gives you time to relax. We would go again.

Convenient place in a quite rural village. Perfect starting point for daytrips in different areas, including Switzerland.
Nice, modern rooms. Great breakfast buffet and tasty dinner concept with various options to choose from. Good size wellness area with plenty of relaxing space. Last but not least, friendly staff. So, all ingredients for a great stay!

The place is not bad, everything looks in order, the rooms are confortable and cleaned.
The missed part is the emphaty, the way to welcoming and manage their clients.
It's the way you tell to your guests how respect the rules (!), the way you can't offer something they ask.... that makes the difference. There are a lot of cleaned hotel around so why we should choose this hotel?
So I strongly suggest them to improve to be more warm, smile and create an excellent atmosphere... and last but not least remember that they are in Italy.
Holidays are also emotions, beautiful memories... that we are sorry but didn't find here.

After our wonderful stay a few years ago we went back to stay for a few days longer.
It is even better than before!
The 1/2 board option is excellent value for money. A choice of menu is available which you choose at breakfast. Although this is a large hotel we never felt crowded or had to wait for anything. Internet access is also available.
A weather forcast and programme events is provided every morning.
You are given a free robe and slippers for use in the hotel wellness area. There is only one downside to the pool. It is the same depth right the way across, about 5 foot. So if you have kids that cannot swim it may be a bit deep for them, or for any short adults!
There is a supermarket across the road which is handy, and which sells a good selection of wine, perfect for a drink on the balcony while enjoying the mountain views.
It is very central for all good biking roads and i highly recomend this hotel to anyone.

Quick summary is that this hotel is run by a family with in-country agrarian roots. There is nothing wrong with this, but the style of hotel as extended 1 or 2 years ago and the style they want to run it as a modern hotel / nature & spa resort sounds well but is not reflected in reality.

The longer story follows below:

1. It is literally a "fly-in" hotel. During booking there is no clear indication this hotel keeps about 10 horses and 5 pony's in an adjacent building. The hotel is full of flies from morning till evening in all areas. Thus, from breakfast till dinner flies are on your food and served meals. Once we were really disgusted to see the "cheese buffet" full of flies, about a 10-fold sitting on the marble plate and already digesting and another 20-fold still on the fresh cheeses already laid down before dinner had started. I have never ever taken a single piece of desert (cheese or whatever) since then for the duration of our stay. Flies are constantly present at your table from morning till evening.

2. The hotel's recent building has a serious conceptual temperature/humidity problem. As an Engineer/Architect myself I have noted an architectural issue with the "suite" we occupied of which the ceiling was partly an open concrete balcony of the upper floor, thus exposing our suite fully to the sunshine on the open balcony above us. Coming home from a full day spent outside, we found our suite at temperatures of 30 degrees plus for the rest of the night. No way to cool the room (A/C nor present as not common in Europe/Italy). No way to sleep. Response from hotel staff was so idiot and inconsistent from day to day, showing their total incompetence to face the problem, that I even save them from further humiliation by not mentioning their responses.

3. Another annoying fact was that all staff/personnel spent their 1-hour after work on the lower floor guest terrace on which all rooms are facing. It was usually about one hour of cheer, laughter and joy and more drinking and more noice, (which I absolutely would grant them to relax from very busy days of work (don't get me wrong)) but all happened on the terrace already left by all tourist who went to sleep. Mind that all rooms are facing this terrace, thus keeping us awake till ~23:30, while all customers usually retreat to their rooms about 22:00.

4. With exception of one dinner where we got once frozen "deer" meat totally un-edible as it was destroyed by being frozen and cooked afterwards (still don't understand why the cook did not notice this) and afterwards realizing all the flies overall the hotel, thus probably also in the kitchen and everywhere.

5. In general, making abstraction of all above, the food was still okay. The plates were balanced, nicely presented and at our taste. We learned to ask for more veggies and sauce and this was provided without any problem. That is basically the positive point, however to be considered in the hygienic remark about the flies all around in the hotel (even the elevators).

6. I have other remarks but refrained myself of exposing those as I may seem to be an "elective person"

I will never return. So should you do!

Yes, that's right, we have rural roots and are very proud of it. This is where our connection to nature comes from, which we implement 100 percent with our concept. Yes, in the country there are flies just like there are mosquitoes in the sea. That doesn't mean that we have fun with the flies and 2019 was a very extremely rich year of flies. However, flies and all other insects testify to a healthy, intact environment, but you will no longer know this as a city dweller. In the future, however, you are welcome to go on vacation where pesticides etc. are used because there are almost no insects there, so no flies either. Likewise, we do not use any toxins in-house, as most competitors do. The exterminator comes there at night and sprays all areas without the guests noticing. If this is supposed to be the solution against flies, I have to say that I prefer the flies to the fact that all surfaces, especially fabrics, are contaminated with poison and especially the young children are then harmed. If you did not know that we have a stable, this failure can only be blamed on you, then you have not informed yourself about our house. The horse stable is part of our nature concept. Absolute nonsense is that there are more flies in the house, our stable attracts flies and keeps you away from the house and not the other way around. A sad testimony of how much you understand about nature. You may be a good architect in your country, but you have absolutely no idea about the construction in the mountains. I gave you the advice 3 times how to keep the rooms cool, but if you know everything better and don't take any advice, you should also sweat a little. The room next door, exactly identical, was free for a few days and we tried to cool it down for test purposes. Within 3 hours the temperature dropped by a whopping 10 degrees to a pleasant 23 degrees. All of our advice was not followed, we can see exactly at the reception at which stage the fans are running and whether a window is open or not and if it works for all other rooms and only for yours, the probability is high that it will be User lies. Finally, I would like to note that you may have chosen the wrong hotel. Because we don't fit guests who don't have a sense of humor, don't talk to any other guest, don't even return the greeting and are so convinced of their own perfection that everyone else is degraded to second-class people anyway. We have a lot of satisfied guests who confirm that we are on the right track. We are very open to constructive, honest criticism and are happy to accept it, we are not error-free, just like no other person. We are constantly trying to improve, but for that we need constructive reviews and not fairy tales.

We have to admit we were disappointed when arriving as the hotel looked very different on their web-site than in reality. The reason we booked it were the horses and that our daughter would find other kids to play with.
The horses are not accessible from the hotel which means you can't be in touch with them or see them. However, you can book sessions though and Edith, who is teaching you how to ride western style (you have to keep in mind it's not the english style) is very sweet and patient with the kids.
So we did that and had lots of fun!
The reason we absolutely recommend this hotel is the food. The breakfast choice is incredible and the evening dinner fantastic, every single day again for our 12 days of stay. The rooms are really nice and the swimming pool and sauna, too.
Something which pleasantly surprised us is the amount of activities you can do with kids in this area. The hotel is not a place to stay all day with kids I would say due to a missing outside pool, so you have to explore the area.
Lastly, the staff and the owners are lovely.
So yes, we really liked our stay!
