The cottage was cold, musty and the bedroom had a smell in it as if someone had been smoking previous to our visit. The kitchen had few utensils, - no kettle, there were chipped mugs. Wouldn't stay there again!

Hi Peter. Thanks for your review. The village is equipped with a restaurant and a Portuguese Café, both working 365 days per year from 8am until 24pm, so the kitchenette at home is just a support for your stay. In the kitchenette you can find the Electric Oven, Microwave, Electric Stove, Refrigerator, Nespresso Coffe Machine, Blender and of course plates,...

Absolutely fabulous, place is so peaceful and quite. I felt there like on different planet. The greatest place for those who need some rest from big cities and rushing. Wonderful people make this place special as well. Romantic, rustically and very Portuguese. Thanks for hosting us I wish I could return. Obrigada:))))

So nice to read your comment. This is a detox product indeed. A little stop in our life to enjoy the truly life: family, friends, the Portuguese food, a good wine, a nice conversation, a good surf section, a nice walking..... welcome to Pedralva :)

We liked the ambiance in Pedralva. The village is realy nice in a beatiful valley. The staff is very kind and friendly so you feel at home. All facilities are available like swimming pool, restaurant and bike rental, also good place for a walk. Nearby nice surfing facilities at Amado beach.

We stayed in a large house with the two of us, so had a lovely outside terrace with magnificent view and lots of space inside, but its especially the extremely friendly staff and delicious food (breakfast, lunch and diner) that we remember the most and that really charmed us.

We loved our four days at this rebuilt village. Our one-bedroom house had a terrace looking out over fields and gentle hills, and it was heated for the chilly evenings. The most impressive thing about Pedralva is the warmth and efficiency of Antonio and his team: nothing seems too much trouble. They helped us put together the rest of our...

My husband and I stayed here for only two nights, on a one week cycling holiday. Our little "cottage" was perfect, with very comfortable twin beds under a sloping roof and a downstairs sitting room cum kitchen. Meals at the restaurant were excellent - can recommend the Piri Piri Chicken. Continental breakfast with lovely freshly squeezed orange juice, taken outside...

We stayed only one night, but had a wonderful time. Nice pool, cosy living / kitchen room with upstairs bedroom. We had the house special for dinner, consisting of cod in a béchamel sauce, cooked in a loaf of bread - sounds weird, but was delicious. The chef presented it to us with real enthusiasm and care.

This place is like no other we've stayed at and perhaps not for everyone but we really enjoyed it! It's a once-dying village hidden at the bottom of a valley in the wild and windy southwestern Algarve Coast -- revived and reinvented as an "eco-tourism village." We stayed in our very own white-washed home in the village, with a living...

To get a flavour of life in a small old Portuguese village stay in Pedralva.... A very relaxing place. Basic houses but they have everything you need and they have a small kitchen should you wish to cook. There is also a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and diner and there is a pizzeria, which is open a couple of days...

If you are looking for a place to stay in this coast, you should consider this hotel... Or village. Very traditional, close to the coast yet very calm and relaxing place... Here you should disconnect... This is the place for that!
