This well kept inn is a charming place to spend a comfortable night. Our room, at the back of the home, with en suite bath and overlooking the river, was very comfortable. There is a restaurant on the main floor which was not opened during our stay. We did however, have a lovely and substantial breakfast on the back porch.... More

Restaurant was very expensive and food quality was low. Cod fish cakes were dry and overcooked, and the sole was plain. Looked like frozen food to me. Absolutely not worth the price. The view is great though.

Traveling home from the east coast, we had the nicest surprise. The time of day indicated it was time to find accommodations for the night, so drove into Kamouraska and discovered this sweet gem. The view of the St. Lawrence River was spectacular which was a true indication of what the B & B would be like. The guestroom and... More

Charming Auberge with an old-country feel. Hand made bedspreads and curtains that billow in the breeze when you open the windows onto a breath-taking view of the St. Laurent. Food is fabulous, gardens are beautiful, staff and owner are charming and so helpful. Auberge des Iles is a gem!

And because I loved it so much, I am writing again about it. The people working there, including the charming owner, are very very pleasant and efficient. Nathalie who served our dinner (which was delicious) is so good, you see right away that she couldn't not do another type of work unless it has to do with PEOPLE. She beams... More

We were 6 out of 14, the waitress was one, we felt she was only serving us. Nathalie is a GEM! The food at the Auberge was very, very good, to go along with the service. Every course was well prepared and served correctly all with a smile. Another restaurant to remember and return to

We only went to the Auberge des Iles to have diner. We got a recommendation from the owner of the B&B where we stayed. The service was nice and the waitress was friendly. We had the scenic view that gave on the St-Lawrence river. It was very relaxing. The food was nice. My wife ordered seafood and I ordered a... More

We just picked this place at random because it was mentioned in our guidebook and we wanted to break up the long drive from the Gaspe peninsula back to Quebec City. We didn't know what a really wonderful experience it would be. We had a spacious suite with a direct view over the St. Lawrence. Meals are served on an... More

We arrived there and found the rooms very small, cramped with cheap bed coverings. Despite having a savonerie next door..there was no soap except a few small slivers. The beds had seen better days and the rooms were stuffy. The bar was okay but closed far too early. I would NOT recommend this auberge to anyone. The breakfast was served... More

“While reserving, ask for the scenic view. It's really worth it. If they don't have place at the time of your reservation and have place later, it's worth the wait.”

“Ask for the suite on the ground floor just to the left of the entrance.”

“It was very hot and humid the day we were there but a strong breeze blowing. Try to get a room on the windy side of the Auberge as there is no air conditioning but a fan is provided. We opened the windows and were more than comfortable. Also, if planning to leave early, pay the night before. Breakfast not served until 8 a.m. and no one is around much before that.”
